I experienced on various occasions that the the Food Lovers Market in Potchefstroom had no stock of weekly special offers. During last Wednesday this shop again had no stock of 7UP colddrink. After complaining to the manager (Shawn) he apologised and wanted to know how many bottles I want. He promised to call me back which he never did. We only stop at the shop when travelling through Potch but this was the last time that we will bother. We were hopeful that the shop would improve when they made it bigger, but it just gets worse. It is a pleasure to visit Food Lovers Markets in Klerksdorp and Nelspruit.
We are not familiar with restaurants in Scottburgh, KwaZulu Natal and stopped at the C Breeze restaurant. I only ordered a plate of chips and my husband calamari rings and chips. The portions are massive - chips and the tomato sauce were excellent. Full marks to the chef. We will definitely visit again if we are in the vicinity.

Op hierdie trant sal ATKV geen nuwe lede trek nie en mense sal eerder minder bekende, goedkoper en beter oorde besoek.
We went on our fourth MSC cruise - each one on another ship. I don't know why the ships have different names because the Orchestra and Musica were exactly the same. We were most disappointed with Orchestra: - The bar staff were very unfriendly and ignored you. - A bar lady swapped our cruise card with somebody else. Luckily my husband picked it up straight away and she went and blocked our cards - Some kids could go in at the buffet without shoes but others were sent back. - Some times your hands were sprayed with disinfectant but most of the times there was nobody at the doors. - No toilet paper in toilets outside your room - Our duvet cover was torn which was not replaced. - A denim was damaged with a cleaner spilling "JIK" on the floor - luckily I was given $30 when I complained - We were 4 people in an inside cabin. The two top beds had no duvets, only very thin and worn blankets. - With only one show at night, we tried both the 1st and 2nd restaurant seatings. You had to rush to make it in time. - The shows were not nearly as impressive as on the other ships. - The cruise director, Stephen Cloete on other ships was much better than Eric Brouman on the Orchestra - he used the same lines and jokes as on the previous ship (Musica) - We had to squeeze four people in on a table for two in the Villa Borghese restaurant. The only plus was that all our documents were in place,the embarkation and disembarkation went smoothly and the day at the island was nice. Eventhough I still enjoyed the trip, my husband decided that we are not going again.
This is the second time we've been staying at Marlothi Safari Park next to Jackalberry Ridge. Both times the noise through the night was horrendous eventhough you are not allowed to play hard music at Marloth Park. Phone calls were made in the middle of the night to report this but to no avail. This is really very bad management and they don't give a damn.
Xtreme Canopies built a very nice canopy for us but we later decided to fit windows. We travelled to Randfontein where the agreed and took measurements, promising us that it would take approximately 2 to 3 weeks. After 4 weeks we made several calls to establish when we could bring the canopy. The owner had several excuses - waiting for the company to cut the glass and glass companies that were on a strike, but after 5 weeks we are still waiting. Maybe the job is too small, but then he must not make promises.
We are members of ATKV for more than 15 years. The rates are very high, even for members and pensioners. Since when do you pay per person if you rent a rondawel? If you go out of season and mid week, the "warm" pools are cold, the slides are not working, etc. Rather visit unknown resorts that are not so expenses and look after their visitors.
We always eat an Unreal breakfast at various Spur outlets. On Saturday morning we did the same at Mooirivier Mall. I did not even get 10 chips. Maybe they must use smaller plates if the helpings get smaller. But the price goes up every now and then.
Very, very bad experience with CAW, Midrand. Don't be fooled by the smiles, free coffee and food. I'm glad that I cancelled the deal.
We purchased a Bunduflip tent from Bundutec. We used it the first time three weeks after purchase and it leaked after approximately 5mm rain. When we contacted Bundutec, they informed us that they were aware of the problem. Why did they not inform us before we purchased the product? They collected the tent and gave us a new one which is apparently waterproof. Our brand new loadbars that were fixed to the tent on collection were returned unuseable (some parts were missing). They offered to refund us but we do like the tent a lot and it has a two year quarantee.
