I received an sms at around 8h05 that a parcel I am expecting will be delivered 'soon'. It is now 13h07 still nothing. I'm having to on the street side waiting as I cannot see the street front. They told me on facebook to rather wait inside and their driver will contact me. But they never do - that is my previous experience. They not bother to call the recipient's number on the waybill, they just drive off. They put it down as undeliverable, try a week later then return the parcel to the sender. The word soon implies maybe half an hour or 45 minutes. Not FIVE hours and still nothing! Disgusted.
STANDARD BANK TRUST LIMITED IS BEYOND USELESS. MY LATE FATHER'S WILL & TESTAMENT CAME INTO EFFECT IN 1978 AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER I HAVE TO FIGHT WITH THEM TO RESPECT HIS LAST WISHES. I HAVE E-MAILED THE CURRENT SO-CALLED TRUST OFFICER (Poti, Thabang T <thabang.poti@standardbank.co.za>) ABOUT THE LAST TWO QUARTERLY INTEREST PAYMENTS THAT DO NOT APPEAR TO HAVE BEEN MADE AGAIN (!!!!!). THIS WAS MY FATHER'S MONEY - HE MAY BE DEAD BUT I AM NOT AND I WILL FIGHT ALL I HAVE TO IN ORDER TO SEE THAT ONCE AND FOR ALL STANDARD TRUST RESPECTS HIS LAST WRITTEN WISHES. IF THEY CANNOT COMPREHEND THE TERMS OF HIS LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT WHY ARE THEY IN THE BUSINESS?!?!?! I STILL HAVE NOT HAD A RESPONSE TO MY E-MAIL OF THIS MORNING - I AM ON THE POINT OF HAVING A HEART ATTACK I AM SO ANGRY!!!!!!!!!! STANDARD TRUST HAS HAD OVER 40 YEARS TO GET THIS RIGHT! SICKENING AND DISGUSTING THAT THEY PLAY THE FOOL WITH DEAD PEOPLE'S MONEY - SICK! AND FURIOUS!!!!!
I had a technician from the above company come out to look at my fridge. It was re-gassed and started working again. No mention was made of any other possible problem, or gas leak. I still asked the technician to check for a gas leak. Less than a month later the fridge has stopped working again. Doing precisely what it had prior to being re-gassed. I paid in the region of R1000. I am told that load shedding could be why it has stopped working again. Last year we had many sessions of load shedding and the fridge was fine. Additionally my landlord has surge protection installed on the premises. Is it my imagination or is it a peculiar coincidence that after the fridge was re-gassed and a couple of load shedding sessions and it now no longer works - it is in fact doing EXACTLY what it was doing before being re-gassed? Instead of a partial refund (all my food had to be binned as it spoiled) I was informed it could be looked at on Friday (I work full time), with no call out fee. No call out fee - fine. But I'm curious how much more I would be charged for any repairs for faults that should have actually been detected during the first visit? It is really horrid being stuck without a fridge. I was so happy to have it working again only for this to happen - to sit with precisely the same problem I had initially. Very, very disappointing indeed.
Absolutely disgusted with their debt review section. They issued COB's on 24.04.2019 yet STILL deducted money off my bank account on 30.04.2019, leaving me in dire straits. They are ignoring Debt Sense's e-mails, they are ignoring my e-mails and not reversing their debit order that they should NOT have carried out in the first place. I am absolutely disgusted and filled with despair. I don't know where to turn.
After a very traumatic week I thought to treat myself at the Queenspark, Brooklyn branch in Pretoria. There was plenty of credit on the account but because measly payment was due, my card was declined. It was humiliating to say the least. They know they get paid on the 25th and in spite of there being plenty of credit they chose to embarrass me. I never want to set foot in another Queenspark store again. They wasted my time and added to the misery of my week. What a dreadful place. And now they expect ME to waste more time e-mailing their customer service instead of contacting the Brooklyn branch to resolve the matter. Well I resolved it myself by cutting up my Queenspark card in front of their staff. I am still so hurt and humiliated.
Terrible. Traumatic. Wish I'd first checked hellopeter. Never, ever again.
