My account has been suddenly blocked but I cannot get any help. I was told to submit my ID and an affidavit but after doing that they say I must do it over and over again. There is only an email address that takes a day to give you automated answers and no real support.
I have had a cell c contract since I got my first phone in 2005. The names have changed but the details have always been similar: 200 mins, 200 sms, 200gig etc. But when I renewed last year, I learnt that for some reason cell c decided to divide my minutes between cell c to cell calls and any network calls. Plus the divide was something like 70/30. So now instead of getting 200 mins that I've been paying for, I now get 140 mins to spend on cell c customers and only 60 to other networks. I was highly upset about this because this was not explained to me when I got the contract but I had already signed so there was nothing I could do except purchase additional any network minutes for extra money that I was already paying monthly. Now today, I m unable to make any calls except to my mom who's number starts with 084. I called the cell c centre and they tell me that the extra anytime minutes extension was deactivated for no reason. I didn't cancel it and she cannot tell me why or who canceled it. Then I ask how come if I have cell c minutes that my call still dropped while talking to a cell c customer and she tells me that my cell c to cell c minutes, which is most of my contract is only for numbers that start with 084. I mean what the hell. That is pathetic. It negates the safety and benefits of having a contract. I am definitely not upgrading next year.
This is nothing new Telkon is really the worst company I have ever dealt with. A few years ago my profile was deleted so I did not have Internet at home for three months. The reason why my profile was deleted was in Telkom's words "unknown" yet they continued to debit my account. In this time I requested my account to be closed and after two debit orders it was cancelled. Seeing that I did not have Internet I requested a rebate and they told me that there was activity on my account even though I had no connection because my account was deleted, so my rebate was denied. I then requested a bill to prove this account and that request was not honoured. I then reversed the last two months and now Telekom has passed me over to a debt collection agency who is threatening me with legal action. I told the agency and telkom on numerous occasions that I want the bill to prove I owe this money. Until it is proven I will not pay a single cent. Wish I could give no stars because one star is not worthy.
After years with Telkom they decide to delete my account because they decided that I was on a different service provider when I wasn't. So now they admit the mistake but I must now pay almost double what I was paying because the package I was on does not exist. How does that even make sense? Cost me hours on the phone speaking to 'professionals' and at the end of the day it was a mistake their side but I must pay for it. Done with this company. No matter what price they offer I will not be using Telkom ever again.
I canceled my subscription at multichoice 3 months ago. I followed all the paths to do so but the idiots that work there gave my account to a debt collection agency. Now I'm getting calls from attorneys telling me that I owe multichoice money?. So now I got a bad mark on my credit rating because of an idiot. Thank you multichoice?
