City Logistics has provided the worst delivery experience I have ever encountered. My order was collected from House & Home on 14th July and has still not arrived to me on the 21st of July. Instead of delivering it to my correctly provided address (less than 50km from the Brackenfell store), the order was sent to George, which is over 400km away. How does a courier company manage to reroute an order to an entirely wrong city, despite having the correct delivery address, town, and postal code? It shows complete disregard for accuracy, professionalism, and customer experience. I have had to cancel meetings, delay work, and miss an important event on a Saturday (wherein they promised to make a special delivery), all because City Logistics could not do the bare minimum: deliver a package to the correct place, on time. Even after escalating the issue, there was no urgency to fix the mistake. I was told only this morning, 21st July, that the order is “now” leaving George, more than a week after it was collected. Then why on earth did you assure me that it would be delivered on Thursday, then Friday, then another promise for a special delivery on Saturday if the package is still in George??? I strongly urge businesses to reconsider using City Logistics as a delivery partner. They have no respect for customers' time, schedules, or service expectations.
I placed an order with House and Home on the 5th of July, provided the correct delivery address, and paid a R1000 delivery fee, even though my home is less than 50 km from their Brackenfell store, which, according to their own website, should qualify for free delivery. Despite this, my order was misrouted to George, which is over 400 km away from my actual location. I was not informed of this error, and if I hadn’t followed up myself, I would still be waiting in the dark. I had to cancel meetings, work commitments, and a Saturday professional event I had committed to over a month ago based on delivery dates that were repeatedly promised and missed. Even after multiple follow-ups, I was told this morning, 21st July, again after I followed up (a full 7 days after the order was handed to their courier), by City Logistics, their courier partner, that the item is only now leaving George. House & Home did not even bother informing me of this detail; this is completely unacceptable. House and Home has shown no urgency, no accountability, and no respect for my time or money. Their logistics partner blundered, but instead of owning the issue and resolving it swiftly, they’ve dragged the matter out and left me frustrated and out of pocket. I want my R1000 delivery fee refunded, and I want House and Home to take full responsibility for the poor handling of this order. I will never order from them again, and I would not recommend them to anyone looking for reliable service.
The call was very professional and the consultant answered my questions to my satisfaction. She is knowledgeable and was patient while addressing my concerns and questions. I will wait a 3-5 days as per her advice. Thank you.
Please stay far from buying anything on the VosaPay App. I have been ****MED TWICE by Vodacom through their VodaPay App and have never received the product ms ordered nor have I been refunded. The recent order was placed on 29 November 2023 with Order number 2010711222. The previous order which has been investigated ***********ly by their staff since 2021 with case number AA-5C1Q-I816V
TaxTim claims that they can submit basic to complex returns for individuals. In their claim they fail to mention that they will disappear as soon as they have your money. They have been of no use to me whatsoever, they could not even link their so called “Tax Practitioner” to my profile. They have never seen my Efiling profile since I paid them in June. I did all the following up until I was fed up of their storied and in the end had to submit the return myself. I regret ever considering TaxTim and would caution everyone who’s considering them, to rather ask SARS directly for advice.
I would like to appreciate Rasheed from Builders Warehouse Helderberg. He assisted me outstandingly and let me updated with my online order. I was losing my patience due to no availability of stock on the products I ordered however, Rasheed kept his promise and went the extra mile to find me another similar product. He has been amazing throughout and I will definitely stay a Builders loyal customer because of his outstanding service.
I would like to thank Aaisha Hendriks, who helped me yesterday with the problem I had with my number that got abruptly disconnected from the Vodacom network two weeks ago. She took her time in assisting me through my frustrations, did all she could to troubleshoot the error. This is after the IT and engineers had tried unsuccessfully to reconnect me. She went out of her way to follow-up with me this morning to check if I am indeed connected, for this reason I will remain a loyal Vodacom client. I hope that all call centre agents at Vodacom had the same level of customer service and courtesy. Thank you so much Aaisha Hendriks :-)
I am utterly disappointed at Vodacom’s service delivery. Your employees do as they like. My profile as a Vodacom subscriber was deleted which subsequently deactivated my number. I have called Vodacom customer service and no one has any decent explanation as to what happened, all I’m being told is the issue has been escalated to their IT department of which only they (call center) have authority to communicate with and not me. Are Vodacom’s systems compromised? Why can no one account for the deletion of my profile from your system? I need answers and need to be reconnected ASAP!
