Amazed that nobody has already written a review! Superior quality from Ikea is not the cheapest that you will find but their service and the product quality is way above that normally available. Their website is accurate and easy to use. Their warehouse staff are quick and efficient and their couriers are fast and friendly I have purchased a number of times now and each has been a pleasure. They also accept orders in advance and are excellent in updating on shipment arrivals during these difficult times
Five calls last Friday....either cut off or not able to assist Friday promised to get technical to call back - Monday afternoon ...still nothing. Three calls this morning and Alinah promised to get back to me. Simple issue of trying to register in order to buy a UPS system through their online store - not receiving an email to confirm my details...so I cannot place an order Now placed my order elsewhere - took 5 mins and R30k later I have what I require How does this company manage to survive with this level of service?
My delivery is still to arrive, but I am certain that there will be no issues. I found their website to be easy to use, comprehensive and the choice of components listed and in stock extensive, especially in these difficult times. I used one of their "recommended" custom builds as a base and developed it from there. Although I did most of the research myself I was able to ask for advice and they reviewed the final design to ensure compatibility. This was a bit tricky as some of my selections are only recently available in SA. Their communication was fast and reliable. Pricing excellent I ended up placing a second order just because it was so refreshing doing business with a company so easy to work with!! I have done the research. Don't waste your time looking anywhere else. Thanks guys. Cannot wait unti my two new machines arrive next week
Hi Everybody Getting really frustrated. Easy online order process. Payment made and confirmation received. 10 days later I followed up by email. No response. 2 days later called the JHB online sales office and was promised that the salesman would call back by the close of business. No response. Further email follow ups x4. No response. Called again today , no reply. Another follow up email this evening. Difficult to fly this battery in as it's Lithium but had I been able to it would have landed and cleared a week ago. In this economic climate South African's simply cannot allow bad service to weaken their businesses. I'm not chasing for delivery. I know this may be an unusual order, but don't ignore your customers. I see that I am not the only customer raising similar concerns. I'm hoping to balance this negative review with some positive comment soon. As another member has quite rightly pointed out...check for stock availability before you order otherwise your cash flow may be affected for some time as well your phone bill and blood pressure
