Based on recent customer reviews, Wootware is widely praised for competitive pricing, knowledgeable sales staff, and reliable communication on PC components, prebuilt systems, and laptops. Customers consistently mention smooth ordering, helpful technical support from named consultants, and honoured warranties when faulty hardware needs replacement. However, a recurring theme involves slow delivery turnaround for some orders, frustration with handling of faulty or DOA products, stock availability mismatches on the website, and sluggish responses when escalations or returns require urgent resolution.

Nice website, great products but they take sooooo long to get products ready for shipping and then I’m sure they use bicycles to deliver taking 10-13 days for local orders is insane and wish I knew that before ordering. I would rather pay more at Takealot and get it next day

While I am satisfied with the products, product offerings and customer service provided by Wootware, I am extremely disappointed with their recruitment process. I am looking to make a change in my career because there is no more growth at the company where I am. I've always been interested in working at Wootware to learn about computers and computer parts. I app**** for two posts at Wootware. Their confirmation emails after submitting applications states two business days to find out if you move on to an interview or not. I waited longer than the two days stipulated and when I finally got the rejection letters, I requested additional information as to what I can do to improve so that I can try again when more opportunities become available with the company. Now I have been completely shafted ( ghosted). Wootware don't drop the ball now. You guys do so well with customer service but your recruitment department is letting you down.

I just want to say thank you for the great service and thanks to JM Le Roux that helped me. I bought a PC from Wootware in 2023. I have been having issues with it the last few months and though it might be RAM related. After contacting Wootware and speaking to JM Le Roux at the support desk, he assisted me in looking into a few things before replacing the RAM. Thanks to his help I saved R15,000, solving the problem with a simple MB FW Upgrade. You guys are the best!

I’ve had a very disappointing experience with Wootware that stretched over almost a month. My first monitor arrived faulty, with a dead pixel line across the screen. While I understand this isn’t necessarily their fault, the resolution process took close to two weeks, which already felt slow for a DOA product. Since they could not replace the same model, I asked whether a discount could be app**** toward a newer model. After some back-and-forth, I was offered a very small discount, which felt underwhelming given the inconvenience. I eventually agreed to take an open-box unit of the newer model at the listed price, after being assured that it was fully tested and had no damage. When the replacement arrived, it was not in acceptable condition. On a glossy QD-OLED screen the scratches are not immediately obvious, but with even slight inspection there were multiple visible scratches, one of which almost looked like a small crack. Given the nature of the display and the assurances provided, this was unacceptable. I didn’t even connect the monitor — I sent it back immediately. After that, it took another week just to get feedback from them. In total, I received two faulty or damaged monitors, slow turnaround times, and what felt like very little accountability or effort to make the situation right. While communication was polite, the overall handling of the issue was poor, especially for a premium product. I expected much better quality control and faster resolution from a company with Wootware’s reputation.

I purchased all the parts for a gaming PC from them and assembled the system myself. Every component arrived in perfect condition and exactly as expected, and the delivery was impressively quick — just 5 days from order to doorstep. Spending R40K online can be nerve-racking, but everything arrived safely. I can confidently recommend them!

I would like to share my subpar experience with Wootware; Recently I purchased some PC parts from WW, these parts include; -Ultra 5 245k -32 GB DDR5 Ram -AsRock b860m-x wifi motherboard -FROZN ID COOLING PRO 620se -512 XPG NVME -And a montech x5 white gaming case. After purchasing the parts, I was emailed to be notified that the RAM I had bought was not in stock(even though the website said it was in stock), so I asked the salesperson if she can find alternatives, she did find the alternative and I decided to go with that as it would not compromise the build I was going for and the budget I had in mind. A few days later, I was again notified that the alternative ram sticks I was offered were also out of stock, so at this point my order was already delayed by 3-5 days, I then again asked for alternatives, but none of the RAM sticks they had available were up to the standard of the ones I had purchased so they decided to offer me better RAM at the same price with no extra cost, which I highly appreciated. Once my parts arrived, I began assembling my PC, upon testing my graphics card was not being detected by the BIOS, so I decided to test my current graphics card in another PC and it worked perfectly fine, however I was still unsure, so I used a spare graphics card on my PC, and it still wasn't reading, after ALL the issues I've had thus far, I was now given another one, I was given a Motherboard with a faulty PCIe slot. I've emailed 2 times already and they either have not responded or are taking INCREDIBLY long to respond. I upgraded my PC since I do video editing and 3d renders, I use it to make a living, now these constant delays and broken parts are extremely detrimental to my financial situation as I am not able to produce any work, hence not getting paid. Extremely poor service, not just once but twice in a row.
