Aandal Foods Vorna Valley. I will never support a store where the owner is rude as hell. She screams her lungs out and treats both customers and staff extremely bad. I suggest you go on an anger management course. Also provide your customers with produce that's quality , do not lie to customers just to get rid of your produce. You really need to adopt a calmer attitude or before u know it, soon the public will find out and stop buying from your store . I definitely will not . A really pathetic attitude by the owner. Treat people with respect. You are a lady after all , behave like one.
The Long Term Insurance Act was gazetted into law to protect clients against Insurance companies . These corporate companies use their stature and size to intimidate us clients into non action , submission or taking them up. Where there is a definite breach in the laws by Insurance companies , the FSCA needs to thoroughly investigate these allegations . I have reported case no. 33160 to the FSCA and they seem to inadequately investigate my complaint , so much so that I have drawn in the Finance Ministry to launch an investigation into the conduct of the FSCA. How do we trust a body that is suppose to ensure the fairness of all parties when they display bias to these corporate Insurance companies . Their lack of thorough investigation is a real cause for concern.
Medi Clinic Midstream . One of the best medical facilities in the country. The staff display genuine love, care and compassion for patients . Patients are treated with so much love , care .and respect. All these really assists in the patients speedy recovery. A cherry on top is their pricing compared to the rest of the industry. Really a win win situation for any patient wanting the best in health care and affordability. Midstream Medi Clinic really deserves a salute from me. As a private bank client of Standard Bank for more than 10 years , the lack of service, support and non response from senior management is to say the least shocking. I really don't need a bank when only in good standing , I need a bank in all situations . Shame on you Standard Bank even Sim Tshabalala for not responding to my complaints to you personally. The absolutely disregard for your cluents in bad times is an absolute shame . Standard Bank does not live up to its motto. Take your clients seriously or there are financial institutions who are willing to do so.
Discovery , An excellent medical aid company I would like the public to know that Discovery is truly a class above the rest . I suffered a major heart attack on 9th June 2020. I needed to be treated and stabilized as a matter of extreme urgency . The consultant at Discovery processed my admission with utmost urgency and care and assured my family that everything would be alright . Unbeknown to my family and the consultant , I was fighting to survive and the medical staff were preparing for me to be transferred to a hospital that could perform the emergency surgery I required . The entire process was handled so professionally and my family was assured by Discovery that everything was taken care of . I had an emergency 7.5 hours operation and had multiple complications. My hospital stay was almost 2 months . My treatment needed costly medication some of which was sourced from USA . Discovery met every single bill payment . I am really grateful that due to having the support of my medical aid , i can send this letter as proof that In difficult times Discovery stood by me and my family .A heartfelt thanks to the Discovery team, Surgeon Dr Daniel Struwig, Cardiologist Dr Jameel Moosa and the rest of the team, you will always be my hero. Thoracic surgeon Dr Daniel Struwig. A special thank you to Dr struwig and team of Medi Clinic Midstream. On 9th March 2020 I suffered a severe heart attack. My life was hanging in the balance . Dr Struwig together with his dedicated team saved my life after a 7 hour operation. Your dedication and genuine care for your patients is rarely seen these days . I Mr Moonsamy had posted an ongoing dispute I have with Sanlam regarding the decline for a dread disease payout . Sanlam almost immediately responded via Hello Peter that this matter was dealt with and was finalized . Does Sanlam want the public to believe that this matter was really dealt with fairly , looking at all the facts and Sanlams failure to keep to their promises as advertised . I would like to place before the public the facts of this claim . In 2012 my wife took out a Glacier policy which was meant to be Sanlams top notch policy . At the time of taking out this policy , the dread disease. ' Sarcoidosis ' was never heard of and therefore would not have been on the list of benefits. Might I mention that when premiums are calculated that there is a buffer built into the premium . Forming part of this contract was documentation that stated Sanlam would follow the markets and the industry. In 2013 when Sarcoidosis became known as a serious disease, all other insurers except Sanlam listed this disease as part of their dread disease benefit. Sanlam although stated that they would follow the market and the industry did not follow suit. As misfortune would raise its ugly head, my wife was diagnosed with having contracted this disease in 2014. This was a real blow to us as it had a big impact on her life. A tragedy in itself , but unbeknown there was another tragedy in the waiting regarding the claim with Sanlam. A claim was lodged with Sanlam and it was declined. After much determination to pursue this claim , Sanlam assessed the claim only to decline it again on the basis of my wife not being more than 35 % impaired. Sanlam introduced a catch all clause in 2013 but no mention in 2013 was made of any impairment criteria assessment . If one takes into account all Sanlams adverti*****ts , Sanlam states that their dread disease claims , is paid out on diagnosis of a disease and not based on impairment. Sanlam needs to be fair in the treatment of its clients . Don't advertise your products and when the time comes to honour your commitment, look for ways to repudiate claims. Sanlam in terms of its own admission and in terms of regulations has an obligation to keep clients informed at all terms . This relates to changes in benefits , policy shortfalls , the markets and the industry. I would like to publish the following articles, some by Sanlams own Senior management and also some regulations that insurers needed to follow . Where there is a breach like in this case by Sanlam then the insurer must take responsibility and honour the claim. Personal Finance 9th December 2014 Laura Du Preez Dr Eric Starke - Senior Medical Advisor at Sanlam stated That all insurers say that they regularly review the illnesses to existing policies retrospectively . Many policies have catch all clauses , designed to ensure a successful claim if your illness is severe and has a significant impact on your lifestyle. They ensure you benefit if you contract an illness not listed on your policy . Personal Finance. Dated. 13.08.2016 Petrie Marx - Product Actuary at Sanlam Stated that Sanlam has upgraded its cover only once in the past 5 years . This alone displays Sanlams guilt in not paying attention to its existing product and benefits . Sanlam has an obligation to its clients to monitor and inform clients where there are new benefits and if the current policy benefits are inadequate or fails to compare to the existing market trends and industry. Sanlam has never sent any correspondence to me up until 2017 when it listed a few benefit changes at no extra cost to the policy. Also listed as a new dread disease benefit is ' Sarcoidosis ' , Sanlam now saw it as serious enough to list this disease some 4 to 5 years later . What made Sanlam only list it now? Sanlams not monitoring the markets and the industry as they have promised , is misleading us , their clients coz we expect a corporate company like Sanlam to live up to our expectations and to do as Sanlam as promised due to our future being entrusted by us the clients to Sanlam to take care of when and if the time comes . Below is an article from Sanlams website which also is regulated by law Treating Customers Fairly Under Responsible Services and Products Sanlam states that it will continually investigate ways in which to expand upon and improve service offerings. Actively review and update existing products to ensure they meet the latest Regulatory requirements . Focus on enhancing existing product solutions with a strategy of continuous Improvement. Customers are given clear information and are kept appropriately informed Before , during and after the time of contracting . Sanlam has breached a number of rules in the various acts as well as their own undertakings . The then FSB has also stated that Sanlam was correct in not paying this claim as it was not on the list of benefits . Rightfully stated but I challegened their decision as this disease was not known and therefore would not have been on the list . It is important to note that Sanlams failure to do as promised after policy inception is the root cause for this dispute yet the FSB failed to look deeper into this complaint . Sanlam being a corporate , should take responsibility for their failures to do as promised or we the public are going to make them realize that we will not take lyimg down. I will pursue this matter until justice is served. I am open to meet with Sanlam to highlight all their shortcoming ps if they are still in dispute . Sanlam you have been wrong , stand up and do the right thing before u end up like Momentum being publicly shamed .

Sanlam stop looking for the easy way out , when u know u have based your decision for a claim for Sarcoidosis on impairment . Can Sanlam give me an explanation as to y in all its adverts it claims to pay out on diagnosis of a dread disease and then assesses a dread disease claim on degree of impairment . The claim was declined due to my wife not meeting the more than 35 % impairment criteria. This claim should have been assessed on a diagnosis basis as advertised as when the policy was sold to us. Sanlam is quick to respond that Sanlam as well as the Ombudsmans office has closed its files in this matter but neither have dealt with my query on the incorrect claims assessment criteria. I am determined to challenge Sanlams incorrect claim assessment in court. For a corporate organization to advertise that dread disease claims are paid out on diagnosis of a disease and then use impairment as a criteria is unfair to say the least. I will not be silenced when I know that Sanlam did not treat me fairly
Well done to the Sanlam Execs . They receive hefty bonuses and salaries , whilst we clients face uphill challenges from Sanlam to pay out our claims . Your broken promises, misleading adverts and deceitful assessment criteria has denied us clients our rightful claims. Theres is no honesty and integrity left . The CEO is on cloud nine and needs to realize that everyone is grounded by natures force of gravity. Do not treat your clients with disrespect , be fair and open in your dealings with your clients as promised . Irrespective of your stature in life , death is the leveler. It levels every human being irrespective of position, wealth , or size.
