I'm wasn't happy with the service of which it wasn't the first time I came and I joined the que like everyone I see they were keep calling people even the one came after me then I decided to ask after asking they sent 3 of Us to the African doctor ,the same Dr I mentioned before that I'm not comfortable with him because every time he is giving injection not even one day I consulted with him he is not giving injection, and even told them no I don't want to see him instead they laughed those reception ladies ,I felt more ****** because people came after me were colored and Indians and definitely they had no appointments ,can we be treated the same way and the Dr must assist us and pay attention on patients as a patient I'm expected to be examined correctly

I am extremely disappointed with the service I’ve received from the doctors at U Pillay. During one of my visits, a doctor made degrading comments about me, assuming I worked in a contact centre with targets. They even had the audacity to call the company I work for useless, despite having no knowledge of my career. For the record, I have never worked in a call centre, and their assumptions were not only inaccurate but also deeply insulting. On another occasion, I visited a different doctor at U Pillay, hoping for a better experience. Instead, I was met with another rude comment when the doctor told me, “I hope you got paid already so you can afford the medication.” It was humiliating and unprofessional to make such a statement, especially without knowing anything about my financial situation. The way the doctors at U Pillay look down on people is appalling. Their judgmental attitudes and lack of basic respect for their patients are unacceptable. Doctors should be empathetic and supportive, not condescending. U Pillay seriously needs to address the unprofessional behavior of their staff and ensure that patients are treated with dignity and respect. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone until they improve their service and change their attitude toward their patients.

Extremely disappointed at Dr. A Thomas at Dr Unben Pillay Associates PN 1568590. 1stly - Shouted at the receptionist saying from May onwards, his only taking patience by appointments and not walk-ins (Not sure who forced him to treat non-booking clients- like we do not pay). 2ndly - No attention granted to me except to check my temperature and throat. Recommended meds to purchase at a pharmacy without clericity. I was recommended to Dr. Pillay by a colleague, I went there with anticipation of well care. I have never in my life been treated by such an arrogant Dr. Young kids who took up medicine to prove a point non other saving lives. I have been thrown in dirt to be attended to by such arrogance. A. Thomas, if you do not want to commence to your daily job role. Try something different, but playing with peoples lives?! You took it to an extreme. I am livid. Guy said, you could either have swine flu or covid- fortunately we do not test. I do not care whether you test or not. I want to get better. your arrogance???? Grow Up

Dr Unben Pillay . Midrand Thank u for the care and passion u show your patients . An ever caring Dr who goes the extra mile to ensure the well being of your patients. U truly are a fine example of the oath taken by Drs Dr Pillays rates are extremely affordable compared to others in his field . Thank u for your dedication.

Dr uben pillay is one of the GP that we have on our medical aid. Today I took my son as always to my GP as he had some ****le looking thing on he's arm that looked like a ring worm and we were assisted by Dr olele which is what the receptionist told me was her name, this doctor was so rude towards us she couldn't explain what my son had developed on he's arm she didn't even care to explain any medication to me. When I asked her what my son had on he's arm she just said she doesn't know and just gave us a prescription that she never explained until I asked what it was and she simply looked at me as though I was being irrational about my question. She even wrote the wrong thing on a sick note I have to take to work and was beyond upset to rectify the information. I am greatly disappointed about the service I experienced at Dr uben pillays rooms in Midrand.

Dr uben pillay is one of the GP that we have on our medical aid. I just felt that I had to state my disappointment with your facility today. I was the first person to arrive, got assisted at 9. When I saw the Dr I told her of my chest pains andme continuous headache. she old focused on the chest pains which she then told me it was muscle pain. I told her I was feeling aid and had been taking something for over aa week. the headache had been my problem, also referred her to my previous visits on the file,its always continuous. I asked for the day off to take medication and sleep, she refused. some of us don't work comfortably like some of u, our jobs are demanding and body doesn't rest until u sleep. I went back to and asked the receptionist would I need to que if im not feeling well the following day, she rudely tells me to speak to the dr as she was busy, busy? inst she ssupposed to be busy assisting patients like me? I walked over and asked the dr the same question, if im not feeling better the following day, can I come straight to her to extend my leave? yoh, she tells me, "no, there is no special treatment, u go back to another dr to check you",. she obviously doesn't care what I was feeling. ive never been so disappointment, I had so much faith in your doctors.

I was seriously sick and dismissed to go to the Dr urgent because I couldn't do anything that time,I checked Dr Pillay' s working hours and went there. I arrived there at 4:20pm and was welcomed by a guy who told me they can't assist me they're closed. The door was still open and he told me to move away. I tried to plead n begged them because it was still past 4 and I was in pain but they kept on coming to me to chase me away.they said today they decided to close early because of their reasons. I requested to speak to the Doctor on duty they kept quite and i waited outside the door from 4:30pm till 5pm,at last the Dr came and she was very rude,frowning and told she has a long day why can't I go somewhere else. I explained to her that according to my medical aid Dr Pillay is my doctor and i have been their patients since 4years back and this is the treatment that I get. I am so highly disappointed and I will tell the whole world how disgusting your service is, treatment and attitude of your stuff members is so pathetic. How can a patient someone in deep pain ignored infront of the Dr s door,???? Which means patients can die whilst you guys are rushing home and you 'll be busy watching through the damn door making funny of your patients. DISGUSTED SERVICE LEVEL 0%

<p>I went to consult on the 24th of April and the guy at the reception area was rude, the black lady Dr that attended to me was giggling when I related my problem and the lady that drew blood from me was complaining about "patients" coming late and that they don't get paid overtime and "us", the patients don't care as our lives go on yet theirs are at a standstill. She went on and on till I had to ask for Dr Pillay himself but the same lady told me to go and enquire at the reception and when I was told that the Dr wasn't there I then asked to see the senior Dr of which she did intervene. I was never told when I should come for my results from my blood tests and I waited for a call as they previously used to call and today I was told that they don't call anymore. Dr Pillay has been my family's GP for over 10yrs and the kinda service that his staff is giving make me wanna end my loyalty to him and choose a different GP. The lady that draws blood said I can even complain with the HPCSA she doesn't care. Sadly, Dr Pillay is never there to attend to these matters. I was given a Panado equivalent for my illness which never helped because everything was rushed and no proper diagnosis was done and no prescription. What a waste of time and money!</p>
