I am hoping that this review with prevent someone from making the same mistake that I did in choosing to study through Damelin as I am certain that they actually do not care what kind of service is given or even what complaints are logged once your fees are paid up. I do understand with Covid we have all been impacted and my complaint is not based on a few unpleasant encounters. I have been battling with them from registration which was in October 2019. They are so inefficient and their call center agents are not just unhelpful they are rude and give off a 'dont care' tone as I am sure they are confident that; we as the students will receive no justice. It takes an unreasonably long time to get hold of anyone to assist and having a full time job makes it difficult to hold for long periods on the phone, which is the only way to get hold of anyone because they DO NOT respond to their support queries. The student portal is absolutely useless as there is no interaction and even requesting past exams papers is a nightmare. I am still awaiting for results I submitted in September 2020 and I received communication that I would receive the results for the exams I wrote in December by 1 Feb 2021 and they are refusing to release them because my account is in CREDIT!!! I was given the wrong exam timetable and I paid for an extra paper that was unavailable and now they wont give me my results??? They are idiots, which is scary as I am depending on them to further my career. They did not send me all my study material so my studies have been delayed and the information given about the requirements are not clear. I have updated my details about 4 times through the call center and I am still recieving messages on the old email address and not the new. There is NO communication with the lectures even though its stated in the study material that this is required for certain assessments. Feedback is a myth to any sort of inquiry and absolutely everyone I have spoken to that knows this institution say a negative reflection. As this is not my first complaint and I was not assisted with the number of various complaints logged my only hope is that I am able to save someone else from this horrific experience by this review. 1 star is even pushing the envelope, they really are the worst! Please check their reviews EVERYWHERE! I was dumb not to do so!
My experience with Damelin distant Learning is really the complete opposite of what is marketed for this institution. Getting hold of anyone on the Student Support line is challenging and in the case where you are able to reach someone they are not able to help. I registered for a Marketing Management Certificate in October 2019 and I have not received all my study material, Ive logged complaints and sent emails and have no feedback to date. The assignments I have submitted have not been marked and just the basic interaction or communication from them is extremely poor and inefficient. They make no effort to ensure students are being seen to and offer no support to any queries or issues raised. My fees where paid in full upon registration and I honestly feel like I was mislead to believe that choosing to further my studies and better my career opportunities through Damelin would be a decision I wouldnt regret. They really should be the last resort and based on the experience as a student I wouldnt recommend them for future learners.
Poor presentation・Small portions・Disappointing food We ordered a mutton bunny and were sent beef and it was so horrible! The meat was hard and the bread was hard, not fresh! I wouldn’t recommend anyone eat this! Very bad
I need to save my fellow brothers and sisters, PLEASE do not put yourself through the torture of getting home internet through Telkom! The connection is bad and the service is even worse. My parents have taken a contract with Telkom for internet at home and when signing up as always everyone was helpful and friendly, until the router was installed. Since then we have had trouble connecting. The internet is slow when it actually works and the all together operating is a horrible experience. We went through to a Telkom shop and they advised us to purchase a booster for the router(which we did) and as expected, this did nothing to improve the internet connection. We then called in to the helpline and they say the only thing they can do to assist is check the connection in our area, they did, and they say its fine. Calling the contact center for help is soul draining, as you will hold so long and then finally get in touch with someone who is unhelpful and basically directs you to a store. Its a nightmare. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do yourself a favor and avoid the agony we are going through. We have finally just given up and decided to just cancel once our contract ends.
I just want to give some well deserved recognition to an outstanding employee at Axxess. I connected my fiber yesterday and I was given very little or no information through Vumatel who my fiber box was set up through and I was struggling to get the internet connection. A lady by the name of Thembakazi on the contact number: 086 130 0900 was so helpful and patient and determined to get my internet working, she took time to help me understand what was happening and calmly instructed me on what to do to get my problem fixed, as I could only add one device to my router and she stayed on the phone with me until it was working 100% and all my devices were connected. I feel like we are so used to getting bad service that when we come across someone as amazing as her, we dont take the time to acknowledge how much it actually changes the way we feel about the entire Brand because of the phenomenal service we receive. I hope she is valued and given the acknowledgement and recognition for her excellent work and such extraordinary service. Axxess is definately going to be successful with staff like Thembakazi on board.
I would like to recommend this place for anyone driving a French car looking for great service and good work to be done, I first took my car (Citroen) to French Auto in 2018 for be evaluated and the professional assistance i received got me to take my new car (Renault) for its service this year and again, I am so happy dealer with the owner Avi, who is efficient, helpful and very friendly. Great Service!
I have got to express how unbelievably terrible the service is at the Randburg Autopedigree car dealership. This has totally been the worst experience that i have had in buying a car and yet they say they pride themselves on their word of mouth referrals. I would not recommend that anyone deal with the sales guy and manager that assisted me, they are only interested in making a sale and don't stick to their promises and never provide the feedback you need once you have given your business. I had to run around for my car License disc which i still had to pay for, i had to run around for my number plates and spare key... I have reported this to their Head Office and they have done nothing. Poor service cannot be the standard! Hopefully i can save someone else the frustration by expressing mine and preventing them treating someone else like this. WORST!
I took out a Top Up contract with MTN that suppose to cost R346.84 per month for 24 months, this is what i signed for, this month with no prior warning they just debited R691.54 and when i contacted the Call Center they say i registered for extra data which i used between 11 Oct and 11 Nov, but they cannot tell me what i used it on. This is outrageous as i have uncapped WiFi at work which it what i use from 8-5 daily and on weekends i used WiFi at home, i rarely ever finish the 2gigs of data i receive as part of my package and on the occasions that i have, i have had to load data manually so where does this come from??? I feel like this is robbery and i would not recommend anyone take out a contact with this company as being scammed for any amount of money is unfair. I am not able to get a proper response from the MTN staff and have just been told i need to pay it and if i want to cancel my contract i will be charged a fee. If i decided not to pay for a month or 2 they would blacklist me, yet they can double charge for no reason and i must accept this! its pathetic.
