I’m expressing my deepest disappointment and frustration with the company. I signed up for a service plan and canceled in about a month. To my surprise the company refunded me less than half of the total lump sum I paid upfront, claiming it’s a cancellation fee. Out of R10138 they only refunded R4829, meaning their cancellation fee is R5309. My frustration is they can’t even give a sound explanation for it
I'm just worried why this company is using email and whatsapp as their only means of interacting with their clients. What if a client has an urgent matter that needs immediate attention? Does that client have to wait 2 weeks (depending on the backlog) for their matter to be attended to. This to me means the company only cares about the money they receive from their clients and don't care about their clients' satisfaction at all.
Rain is nothing but a cheat and a glorified scam. There is nothing 4G about their network speed (they should have said, up to 4G speed). I struggled just to open a mere website, not to mention uploading or downloading which was almost impossible, and this happened for months. I complained and logged ticket with their service department, but there was no improvement until I decided to cancel. Now I'm using a different network and it is 100 times better than rain.
I went to the Frontline store in Pretoria, Bloed Street on the 03/11/2018 to buy an article which I thought was on special. To my surprise, the article charged a normal price of R30.00 at the till, although they displayed a promotional price of R26,99 on the shelf. When I raised the issue and demanding my refund, I was sent from pillar to post, while the returns supervisor (cashier Karabo-Karabo) was busy complaining as if I was annoying her. I tried to report the matter to management who told me they have nothing to do because the rude returns lady is the only one that can help me with my refund. I was so disappointed and annoyed of the service I received from the store. This needs to be rectified very soon (e.g. put correct shelf pricing and all this will be avoided)
