Great service and quick delivery, they even gave me a free sample pack. Their variety is amazing, the English Toffee and Harlequin flavours are some of the best coffee I've had.
Horrible service from Discovery after being a loyal medical aid and banking customer for years. Asked them to switch my debit order date to the 1st for this month, which they did not do resulting in the debit order failing. For a whole week I've been requesting they do the debit order again, 4 times I have been told it will definitely go off at the end of that day and I am still waiting. Because of their incompetence my cover has been frozen. After requesting that they escalate, I was again promised a callback which did not happen. How is it possible that 3 different consultants are not well trained enough to resolve a simple query. I am considering dropping all my Discovery products.

Takealot used to be my go to retailer but they've really dropped off in recent years. First increasing minimum free delivery limit, and then the terrible service. I ordered an airfryer and paid for guaranteed Saturday delivery, then the app tells me I'll only get it next week. I call customer service and they tell me the order will be canceled because they don't actually have stock of the item. Add to that all the issues with delivery drivers not showing up or lying about delivering orders and Takealot needs to do a lot better, especially with Amazon now in our country and offering a much better experience.
Bought an Asus laptop from the Kenilworth store, after a few weeks it didn't turn on anymore so I took it back and they sent it to their service centre. After 3 weeks without a single call or message giving me an update on what was going on, I had to email head office and Michael was very helpful and told me he would follow up. I got a call from Norman from Head Office who told me the Kenilworth branch would contact me the next day. They didn't, and I had to call them to get an update. Head Office was very efficient and helpful but Kenilworth has a serious issue with service, I will not be buying anything from them again.
Sent in a PS4 controller with a bad right stick to be repaired. Paid R350, took it back home, and the right stick still wasn't working. Took me literally a few minutes to figure out it wasn't functioning properly, so clearly they did not bother to test it. I took it back to Paul, who did not seem apologetic at all and acted like he was doing me a favour by taking it back to repair again. Still waiting to get my controller back, awful experience. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
After the internet outages apparently caused by a DDOS attack, internet cameras stopped working. Logged a request and was basically told by Wynand de Jonge "Sorry you're on your own". Called again and staff were completely uninterested in helping and said that I must use my own money and get an IT guy to sort out a problem CAUSED BY THEM. Cool Ideas is definitely not the company they once were, avoid at all costs.

I had a problem with Google certification on the MBX4K and contacted Mediabox, got a reply from James from Mediabox whose first reaction was to accuse me of lying and stated that there is no problem with their devices and that it must be a counterfeit device. When I provided him with the serial number as proof, he ignored my emails and did not bother to try and assist. However, when I enquired again I was assisted by Bradley Nicholson who provided me with the best service I have ever received from any company. He was aware of the Google Certification issues and went above and beyond to try and assist me, he was even willing to call and guide me through the Mediabox settings over the phone outside of business hours. The problem was eventually fixed thanks to him and the great service. Thanks again for renewing our faith in Mediabox!!
Brought my HTC in for a repair so that I could sell it, issue was only resolved 2 months later. Phone was incorrectly repaired twice and the staff could not have cared less about my inconvenience and wasting my time and money driving back and forth to their premises. The technician Benjamin kept assuring me he would call me to give an update and never once did, got a new excuse everytime such as " I was the only technician on duty" or "I forgot". Completely unacceptable. The phone was brought in for an issue with the power button and when I got it back the screen was flickering and the battery was unable to hold a charge. I was told it had nothing to do with their repair and was somehow a complete coincidence and that I had to pay R650 extra for a new battery, despite the fact that the battery had worked perfectly for the whole time I had owned the phone. After another week of waiting I called and was informed by Benjamin that "the cleaning lady broke the power button" and I would have to wait another week for a replacement button. Dealing with this company has been a stressful and frustrating ordeal and I have no idea how they are still in business or how Benjamin the King of Excuses has not been fired yet. Avoid this company at all costs.
