Bought shoes that was advertised for R650 and the wanted me to pay R799 with the excuse of the system price not being able to be changed. I ultimately paid R700 but that was *******, only bought them because my daughter loved them.
I have purchased a runflat tire at Limpopo tires Polokwane / Tiremart. The tire was under warranty when I got a puncture on R101 to my holiday destination with my family on the 30th of December 2023 in the evening. Given that my car doesn’t come with a spare wheel, I called the nearest tire repair shop to help me be on my way as it was late. I took enough pictures of the damaged tire and the car. The tire repair people changed the tire as they said it could not be fixed since the damage was on the sidewall and pretty bad. I called Limpopo tires on the 2nd of January to inquire and they told me that they want the tire on the car physically at their shop to process warranty otherwise Good year wouldn’t let them process warranty claim. This is unfair to me as a consumer because it literally means I cannot drive outside Polokwane in order to successfully claim their warranty. Their terms and conditions are designed to rip customers off.
Hassle free insurance to be honest. I have been with them for couple of years and they always give me the best insurance possible unlike with other insurers that I had to deal with previously.
Customer service needs to be taken seriously and I feel harassed by them. in 2019 November I took a pre-paid 3 years car tracking plan when I purchased my car. After the initial plan lapsed, I did not want to take another long-term contract so I opted for the month to month plan. on the 7th of July 2023 I contacted them to cancel my month to month plan ref 1049951. Customer service referred it to cancellations department but it never was cancelled. Few months later I get SMS notification stating that I am in areas. I emailed to enquire but no response, ref 1245103, 1193707 and CAS-6736675-T9T1. finally I started talking to Legalcancellations over the phone. The lady noticed the error they made and apologized for not cancelling the account on time. on the 18th of October 2023 I was refunded the money they charged me for the months that were supposed to be cancelled. fast forward to December 2023 I get 2 phone calls and an SMS stating that I owe Netstar. To be honest I would not recommend them to any user as their system makes them unprofessional. If they cannot keep track of account information, how are they going to keep track of your assets(car). The one star I gave them is beyond generous for how they have treated me.
It’s sad that Truworths doesn’t follow the laws of FICA. Someone opened an account in my name, so far I reported it to the Police and submitted relevant documentation at Truworths store and also emailed it to them. Now I am receiving threatening mails at my parents house... No one seems to be attending to my case...
