MTN Online consultant called Sabelo if I am not mistaken. He called me back to help me with getting my plug-and-play router (asked him to explain what that meant; he responded in such a way as to make me feel dumb) but the service in explaining was horrible. Please teach your consultants customer service, and that just because the offer is cheap, doesn't mean we need to be subjected to disrespect. I asked a simple question of "Why is the Pro Rata starting today and not on the day of the activations" His response "You are actually supposed to be paying a lot of money for that, what is R269 x 2." I am just appalled. Sometimes customer service is everything and explaining to someone like they don't understand. My call lasted for 5mins 25 seconds then he hung up.
I went to the Webuycars at Midstream to buy a vehicle, I saw a vehicle I liked, it needed a replacement of wheels as per the Dekra report. I took it for a test drive, there was a light on, however the sales person said its nothing major and could be from the fact that I needed to replace the wheels. It was a category A vehicle. I then wanted to secure the vehicle and he said we need to invoice. I then proceeded with the invoice and took a picture of the light to go investigate further myself Upon investigation, I discovered that it was an electrical fault, I then made a decision to cancel the purchase. This fault was not noted on the Dekra report to begin with. I am now asking for my refund and I am being told I will not get it. Should that fault not been an electrical fault, I was going to go ahead with the vehicle however that was misrepresentation. Webuycars misrepresent many vehicles. I went to The Dome to see a Dekra Platinum vehicle, and upon test driving, an engine light appeared. I am worried if Dekra reports are a true depiction of what is wrong with all your vehicles. I am only requesting my R5000 deposit because had that fault not been an electrical one, I was going to go ahead with the purchase. To everyone clueless about cars, just go to a dealership, you might end up with a lot of trouble and in financial distress because this is a misrepresentation. My only mistake was wanting to reserve the vehicle. Does this mean had I paid a R50 000 deposit I was going to forfeit it? I have also been requesting the T&Cs of invicing.
I want to thank Penny Mabuso for her exceptional service. I called to enquire about a second hand car I saw on the Kia website and she actually helped me reserve the car for my viewing. She has been great and has been keeping me updated with everything concerning my purchase. She even organized a loan vehicle without me having to ask whilst Kia is fixing the small dents on my vehicle. I will forever be greatful for the seamless service. I really appreciate it.
The claim process was smooth. Miway Blink made sure that they prioritize me as their client in my unfortunate accident and did investigations at a later stage. The hunt of a new car begins and I am definitely going to choose miway blink again.
Everytime there is a battery disconnected, or I drive into a dangerous zone; I will not receive a call to check if I am okay. They just check that the device is working and that's all that matters to them. Also debiting your account on a monthly without checking up on you. Their consultants also do not care, I have an emergency travel tomorrow out of the country and I was blatantly told, "there is nothing to do to help you mam". Maybe its the manner in which it was said, but I will be cancelling my contract.
