They expected us to place an order before they have done final measurements and then told us that the price may change after their final measurements. Company was rude and took offence that we were obtaining competitive quotes for a job. They told us directly that we were wasting their time by getting competitive quotes and that we should rather go with another company. So, my advice to the reader is to rather skip this company, follow the advice they give to potential clients, and go to their competition.
I have sent multiple quote requests to Leroy merlin for a rather large order of building materials, however, they seem to not be interested in my business. I have been ignored every time. I used their official quote email: quotations.boksburg@leroymerlin.co.za Must I beg to get a quote?
Capitec has now decided to limit what it's customer's can do with their own money by blocking payments to online betting and crypto platforms. I will have to consider taking my business elsewhere.
Refuse to close my bank account despite a positive balance and multiple calls and requests. One excuse after another. Will never open an account with them again.

Good day. Id like to raise an urgent complaint as it relates to cell signal in my area. My family has multiple mtn contacts including a home LTE package. Collectively we pay thousands of rands to MTN each month. We have had essentially no cell signal at home for the last 10-14 days. This includes our internet package. Even at times when our devices read full 4g signal, the internet does not work. Please note that this is not a loadshedding related failure. We typically will experience cellular downtime during loadshedding, but then signal returns at full strength when the power is on, however, we have now sat with little to no signal 24/7. I have contacted your coverage division twice and they informed me that our closest tower is fine, but the next closest one is down, as such all traffic is routed through our tower causing this poor network coverage. Apparently the tower is down due to cable theft. I fully understand this, however, I cannot understand why this situation has been allowed to persist for this amount of time. This is completely unacceptable and I'd like to understand why we should be expected to pay for a service that MTN is not providing. There are only 3 acceptable solutions to this problem: 1) provide timelines on when this situation will be rectified. 2) provide pro-rata discounts on out contracts for the time periods for which this situation persists. 3) allow us to cancel our contracts without an early cancelation fee. The above are reasonable requests given that MTN is charging us for a service that is not being provided.

I rely 100% on MTN for internet connectivity. I have multiple contracts for data and voice. 4G is okay most of the time, but during loadshedding periods the internet goes down completely. This happens 2-3 hours before the area is loadshedded (the internet is on while my home is loadshedded). This means that I spend half day with no Internet and half day with no power.... It's impossible to get anything done. My question to MTN is this: why do you not have backup systems in place to ensure service during loadshedding? This is unacceptable.
I loved capitec bank. Always had great service, however, I applied for an increase in my credit limits and was declined last week, despite my credit score being excellent according to their own credit rating agency. I have tried to contact them multiple times and they are unwilling or unable to provide answers. I have phoned and emailed multiple people and still nothing. I also phoned their credit rating agency (as they told me to do) and the agency said there was no problem and that my score was excellent. Seriously considering moving to another bank as Capitec clearly has zero interest in serving their customers or keeping me as a client.
