I know a person can't review the same business regularly but what does one do if you aren't getting assistance from that business and they're not replying to your previous review?! I expressed my dissatisfaction with Prime South Africa some two weeks ago, sadly still today I haven't been assisted, my car is still stranded at the repairers premises, with absolutely nothing been done to it from my first review or complaint... The repairer can't do anything to it without the parts, which are supposed to be delivered by Prime SA... I have no cuertesy car no nothing now, life is at a stand still.. Funny enough I received a call from Prime South Africa assuring me that parts would be delivered last week Wednesday, unfortunately that was never the case..
I wrote my dissatisfaction on Prime last week about the slowness of the process of my claim and the repairment of my car.. I'm disappointed to say nothing much has been done, I just only got an SMS saying the qoute is being moderated, since last week Wednesday, when I called in today I'm still told about the moderation process...
I'm currently having a bad experience with Prime South Africa formerly known as Prime Meridian Direct.. I had a minor tire/tye accident on the 23 of August 2024.. So they towed my car to their yard while busy with my claim, now I was informed that the claim has been approved, they have appointed a panel beater to repair it last week Thursday... Seven days later now I'm being sent from pillar to post by Prime, they have received a qoute from the repairer on Monday.. Now the one in charge is just failing to sign it off, so that the repairer could pick it up and start with the repairs... Mind you it's just a minor tire/tyes to be repaired... I've called countless times for an update and I'm stranded because I use it to travel to work..
I have submitted all documents to the insurer who in turn have forwarded relevant documents to Nedbank MFC who have to in turn provide the insurer with the settlement letter, so that the insurer can pay and settle owing amounts... To my surprise MFC haven't done so, thus causing the delay in finalizing the claim...
Unfortunately my car was declared a write off, I'm grateful though to PMD for their transparency and updates to me quickly... Hopefully the ramaining process of settlement can be fast tracked so I can be able to initiate the process of getting a new car, as I'm quite struggling without one..
After a swift response from PMD earlier on, unfortunately I'm faced with another dilemma, my car was approved for repairs to Hugo's of which they declined citing distance reasons, so it was reassigned to Ross Champion in Pinetown for a quotation.. When I contact them, they haven't done it unfortunately... So now I have no clue as when they'll start working on it? When will they'll finish it? When can I collect it?.. I'm just in limbo, I'm disadvantaged, I have no car to travel to work..it's the 2nd month now, with no car..
Would like to commend PMD for swiftly resolving an issue I raised in connection with the claim I have with them... I'm very much satisfied with the intervention and I'll gladly recommend PMD to anyone looking for car insurance.. Unfortunately now I have encountered another problem with the panel shop they tasked with fixing my car Hugo's panel shop PMB, when I call them they claim no communication whatsoever with them and PMD has taken place, they know nothing about my car, hence PMD insists they indeed communicated and tasked Hugo's to repair the car now I'm in limbo..I'm disadvantaged now because I have no car to travel to work on daily basis... ?
Lodged a claim with PMD on the 5th of July, they promised to give me feedback on the decision or outcome of it within 15 working days... But unfortunately I haven't received any, when I call them I get different answers, some promise I'll receive the call before end of day, some say tomorrow..
