The music at the Mall has been at ludicrous levels for the past week. What an unpleasant experience. Every shop tries to overcompensate with their own music volume turned way up. Every cleaner tries to outdo each other to be heard. Customers voices are elevated. What are you trying to do, chase the customers away?
So I could not find my Cell C sim card but get a statement showing phone calls and a Top UP data package that I did not request. Report the matter and ask that the sim card be stopped and the contract cancelled. The cancellation department assures me that in 30 days that the sim is blocked and the contract will be cancelled on 6 November 2025. Today (5 November) I receive a statement from Cell C for the contract with phone calls and Top up PLUS A RECONNECTION FEE! What is up Cell C.? Even blocking a SIM CARD does not block a Sim Card.
I am totally fed up with Mondo and the lack of empathy from Vodacom. What a bunch of skelms. In January, I got a phone call from "Vodacom" informing me of the new rates on my EXISTING 20Gb data contract. The rate was lower and the data carried over otherwise, the skelm operator, assured me that the everything was the same but I needed a new sim card. The sim was delivered and now i have TWO contracts. I hardly use the first one and DO NOT NEED two! I have asked Vodacom to have is cancelled and have been rejected three times because it is from Mondo. I do not have a contract with them, I did not agree to a second contract and I cannot cancel it. I hate doing telephonic business and this reinforces my vewi. Buyer beware - these people are not just skelm but blatant LIARS.
For years I have been a Vodacom customer. One of my packages is a 20Gb data bundle. At the beginning of this year a Vodacom call center agent phones to tell me - not ASK me but TELL me - that the 20Gb bundle is being improved. My payment will go down and unused data will be carried over. I gladly accept this. But they have to send me a new SIM. WHAT A STINKING RIPOFF. Sure they sent me a SIM AND THEN CHARGE ME FOR A WHOLE NEW ACCOUNT. This is not an upgrade but a NEW ACCOUNT. I am now being charged TWICE for the same thing. THe SIM Card is still inthe courier bag unopened. Vodacom call centerare refusing to stop the false account. THe insinuation is that I want a second account when I do not even use all the data for the frist one. What's up VODACOM? What a ripoff. I have never used the ripoff telecentres for new accounts because of the potential for this very thing. Now I am saddled with two account and BITTER TASTE IN MY MOUTH. These days any financial transaction has be signed in triplicate with clearance for brokers, agents, advisers and whoever but Vodacom Direct telecentres can LIE to you and RUN UP YOUR BILL willy-nilly. Well done Vodacom, I am happy with the product but PEEVED by the service. Even more so because you DO NOT LISTEN.
