Do not buy. Bought their 4litre misting fan. Leaked from water dispenser from the start, within 6 months leaking out the bottom of fan and mister works only intermittently.
I received notification from FINES SA regarding a traffic fine I had incurred on 01 Jan 24, which I duly paid on 12 Feb 24 to FINES SA. I have now received a notification from the City of Cape Town that my fine is outstanding and unpaid well over a month after I made payment to FINES SA!
FNB put a freeze on my account on 7 September, I only found out a week later when I tried to access funds. Upon my own enquiry I was informed that there were outstanding FICA documents which I needed to submit. 1. I received no request to submit the documents 2. I was not informed that my account was going to be frozen 3. I have submitted the documentation and my account is still frozen 4. No one at FNB is responding to my emails. I have now lodged a complaint with the banking ombudsman as I believe this is at a minimum an unfair practice but is most likely also illegal.
I was double charged for a booking which I made during the Flysafair sale on 01 deNovember. I have liaised with them via email and through their support desk. First I received an email assuring me that they were aware of the error impacting on multiple clients but that refunds would be processed automatically, however it is now 20 days later and I have not received a refund. When I called the helpdesk they had to log my refund request even though this was meant to have been automatic, My refund request to the support desk, for which I was told no reference numbers are issued, was logged on November 9, and still I have not received a refund.
I ordered 4 mugs online which were meant to be 4 for R100. However I was billed full price. As I was unable to cancel the order on their website, I was advised to refuse to accept delivery of the order. I emailed them to inform them of the problem twice on 13 August and again on 24 August, no response and no refund. I have been billed for the items on 13 august and I have been trying to get hold of Woolworths for a refund. Today I tried calling their customer service line at 8.51AM, the message said, sorry this is outside of working hours which they also said are 8AM-5PM on workdays....So Woolworths customer service is absolutely useless. I have not once had a positive experience with their online shopping and I will never ever shop online with them again, I want my refund Woolworths!!!!
I ordered a wine delivery from Spier who unfortunately utilize the services of SWE for delivery. On 9 June 2020 I received an email from Spier informing me my delivery was on the way, it is now 8 days later and I have not received my delivery, the tracking number for SWE shows no information other than they "received" the order on 10 June. No delivery date scheduled, nothing, I emailed SWE on 15 June and have had no response. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE, your clients will not thank you if you do.
