I purchased a used 12v/230v car/mobile fridge. After testing it, I found that the 12v function does not work and therefore requested per email (on 26 Nov.) the return for refund or 50% discount. I was immediately informed that someone would be in contact, but despite me reminding them (on 29 Nov.), no further communication has been received.
My tv broke. It is still under guarantee, so I am relying on Hisense to do the repair. Firstly I reported it on an online form provided on their website. I received email confirmation, but after waiting a week, I phoned them. They were unaware of the reported fault, but made an appointment for the following week to attend to the fault. No one however arrived, so I phoned again. The appointment had been cancelled, so a new appointment for a week later has been made. Ridiculously, waiting so many weeks. If I had known, I would have purchased another tv.
I was planning to buy solar panels. The Power Store offered competitive prices, so I put 6 panels in my basket. Waiting on the installer to confirm my choice of panels, I noticed prices of the goods in my basket increasing. Then, I read several negative reports about delivery. Best not to buy from them I think.
Waiting 5 days now to replace a flat battery in terms of a service plan has caused me a lot of problems. My wife no longer trusts driving with me in my car which would not start again 200 km from home.
Hello Peter's intervention worked like a charm.
My Black Friday deal resulted in an overcharge of R2218 for December. After numerous visits to MTN shop, the charges for January onwards were corrected to R309 p.m., but I have been unable to receive a refund of the December overcharge which was debited to my bank ac. The cost of travel and time to the MTN shops on so many occasions now probably is more than the money I am trying to recover.
