Cell C has failed twice in more than 2 weeks to deliver my new phone. Despite having my correct address, clearly stating Jamestown Stellenbosch 7600, the parcel ended up in Port Elizabeth from where it was taken to a non-existing address in Jamestown, Eastern Cape. Many, many calls and emails later, to follow up and confirm my address with them, the phone ended up in PE again yesterday. How is it possible that service could be this bad? Even Home Affairs did better - I got a new passport in less than 2 week. Cell C can not even deliver a phone to the only address they have been delivering it to for the last 6 years.
Despite having my correct address, complete with postal code in Jamestown Stellenbosch, Courierit dispatched my cellphone to Port Elizabeth and from there to Jamestown in the Eastern Cape. I followed up when I did not receive it on the promised delivery date and repeatedly informed them that I am in Jamestown in the Western Cape. Two and a half weeks any many emails and text messages later, I get an SMS to say it will be delivered on Monday 11 April. Again nothing gets delivered. Guess why? They dispatched it to Jamestown in the Eastern Cape AGAIN! Is there an award for the worst service? Please give Courierit Gold!
Charged for plumbing repairs that had absolutely nothing to do with the checkpoints required for the plumbing certificate. They also failed to inform the seller that plumbing and beetle certificates are not compulsory for the Stellenbosch area and happily repeated inspections in the 15 months it took for registration of the property. When they did the plumbing inspection for the 3rd time, they found fault with a toilet flushing system which they had replaced 6 months before (another item that is not on the certificate's checklist). I will definitely never use them for anyting.
I lodged a claim for my vehicle which was ruined in the BWHO riots in Saldanha on 14 March. The customer service that I've had from Indwe is absolutely pathetic. After more than 3 weeks I am not only still without transport, I am also still without assistance and information about when what will happen. After painstakingly drawing bits of information out of the "Service Advisor" on my case, a couple of emails to a Service Consultant - which were ignored - and 2 complaints on their "Compliments & Complaints" section on their website, I am still in the dark. And this time it is not Eskom's fault. Seems like Indwe have joined the likes of Eskom, Telkom, the post office, home affairs ect where it comes to customer services. I have been with them for a couple of decades and have always received good service. But something has gone seriously wrong there and I am definitely not wasting any more money on them.
