I was a bit reluctant to apply for debt consolidation, however Ross Dewes was able to explain the process very clearly and simply. I'm not great when it comes to financial jargon and I appreciated that he simplified the process for me and helped me to understand how much I would be saving. He made the process simple and effortless. In fact, within a couple of hours the whole process was completed with just a few documents needing to be submitted. Looking forward to living within my means and once and for all getting debt free. I can't wait!
On the 4th of November 2023, sometime between 20:00 -21:00 in Summer when it was still light outside, my wife was walking as part of her exercise rounds when the security from Securitas started chasing her for no reason at all without even giving a reason. I find this very disrespectful and uncalled for. It doesn't matter if you are a security officer you serve the public and you should not randomly be frightening people for no apparent reason. This happend in Burgundy Estate. I would appreciate it this gets looked into and that you keep your Security in check so that they do not go around harassing my wife and also other ladies. This is obviously not the first time this has happened as can be seen in this forum. Please discuss this and have this resolved as this is not acceptable behaviour from those we trust to protect our loved ones.
I app**** for a loan around 4 days ago, and according to their system the process should be easy and quick. It has been far from that. Firstly, their website is extremely slow and very buggy. When I asked them about this, they mentioned that it was due to the website being updated. Fair enough, however their email and contact system is equally slow. All in all, I would not recommend this company at all. There are other far better options to choose from. Unless they can fix their website and allow one to complete the application smoothly, I would not use their services.
This was the first time using UNIFI credit and I just want to say that the process was very smooth. The only form of documentation that was required was sending in my bank statements. The online application was painless and the representative that helped me get the loan approved, Elcino, went above and beyond to help me by handling my loan application directly and also saying I could call back or message him back to receive assistance. I highly recommend the business and I also want to give a special thanks to Elcino for his assistance. The loan came at a crucial time and he helped me get this across the finishing line in no time (+-24 hours).
I have had the worst experience with Telkom in regards to the Vumatel Fibre deal. I was first approached by a Telkom doorsman who asked me to sign up for Vumatel fibre through Telkom, where I would pay R 800 for uncapped wifi and get the installation and modem included free of charge. This ended up taking about 2 - 3 weeks just to get set up with the modem and installation. Once I got the modem, I followed all the instructions in the Telkom box where the Modem came in. The internet worked for about 2 days (the wifi included) but then it suddenly stopped. I called Telkom to follow up on this and have since spent about 6 hours on the phone with Telkom with no resolution. Today I was told that the Modem was the problem. When I went to the Telkom store in N1 city I was told that the Modem is not the issue and that it I needed to ask for Telkom to send me a username and password (The technical agent for some reason was not able to get this for me). The funny thing is that even though he said that the modem was fine, he said he was not able to test it because they didn't have fibre at their store! I find that rather ironic. In any case, I called the call center again where I had to wait for a very long time and after multiple lines being dropped due to the bad line I finally chatted with a lady that told me after many attempts to try and solve the problem that the problem is with the router. I am beyond frustrated and am thinking of moving to a different service provider, but if I can resolve this it would be the best for me. I have been using Telkom for years and don't feel like moving to a different provider, but this has pushed my patience beyond its limit. Your assistance with how to solve this would be great. Also: Even though the Modem Wifi lights are green and I tried rebotting and reseting the device it doesn't work. I also can't even access the 10.0.0.2 IP address they keep asking me to access.
