Thank you Teboho Moloi and Siyabonga Matete, KY94DCGP for your fast and efficient help assisting my child getting home after breaking down on the road.
After notifying Bonita’s of a member’s death and requesting the debit order be cancelled, Bonitas still deducted the premium. I then advised Bontas that the premium should be refunded and requested the refund should be returned to the account it was taken from. Bonitas then requested an executor’s letter. I pointed out that the premium was not paid by the member and would not form part of the estate and should be paid back to the account it was taken from not the deceased member’s account. Bonitas then refunded the deceased members account giving the reason that is the account on record. I pointed out that they had taken the premium from a specific account and therefore obviously had the account details. I requested they reverse the payment and credit the correct account or get a senior staff member to call me and explain why. No help has been forthcoming. R8600 may not be much to them but it is to me. to now lodge a claim against the estate and wait months for a refund because of the incompetence of Bonitas is unacceptable and not even getting a call is inexcusable.
Car recovered within 90 minutes and back on track insurance paid out without a hitch
What a marvelous machine. A super investment if operated correctly. Replacement parts easy and cost effective.
What a pleasure to deal with people who know their products and deliver on their promises. Their prices are good too. I'd recommend them to anyone.
Bonitas claim to pay 90% of legitimate claims which makes you wonder about the 10% of LEGITIMATE CLAIMS they dont pay. I am battling with this at the moment. I am on the highest plan. As a patient who has had a masectomy my plan states I am allowed 2 prosthesis a year. When I enquired I was assured I dont need athorisation for this as it is part of my plan. 6 months later I still cannot get it paid for because what you are not told is that any excuse to not pay will do. The latest unreasonable reason given is that I obtained the item from my physiothe****** and apparently you are only allowed get it from an orthotist. This is not told to you when you enquire. The fact that you are already seeing a physiothe****** who is more than qualified to fit the items doesnt carry any weight either, you must go see yet another specialist. So your plan allows the item, you dont need authorisation, you get a qualified person to fit and supply the item, you send in a motivation when requested after the first rejection, you apply to special claims after the second and are still rejected because any excuse will do, i.e. you went to a physiothe****** not an orthotist!
Tough people with mountains of compassion and experience. For anyone truly wanting change these people know the way. They will help you resolve more issues than you realised you had if you allow them to. Saving lives and families.
Apparently I have a contract with Vodacom but no one can give me a copy of it or even explain what its for. I purchased a tablet on a 24 month payment plan which included x amount of free data monthly. When it was fully paid I was contacted and asked if I would like to extend the data option. I declined. I suspect this is what it relates to. A few months ago I realized vodacom was still debiting my account and so I instructed the bank to stop payments. Over the years I have been asked a few times if I would like to upgrade / purchase etc. I have repeatedly told the telkom agents I do not have an active contract with them. Now they want money? In my opinion they owe me a refund. I have spoken to about 5 different persons at the call centre, each one refers me to someone else but no one can actually help, Send me a signed copy of the contract and I will pay.
