I rented a vehicle from Pace car rental to be collected at OR Tambo International Airport. On the day of collection I was told to pick it up at Pomona and not OR Tambo because I was not Flying in. It was inconvenient so I picked up the vehicle in Marlboro. I had to have my credit card registered as I was a first time customer and it took almost an hour to do. Then I had to wait for the vehicle to be cleaned as it was not clean. I returned the vehicle in good order and in time. Then came the billing... They did not load the additional kilometers as requested before I returned the vehicle. I then enquired about when my refund would be made. I had to again register my credit card with them - even though it was done on collection of the vehicle and was paid for by the same card on collection. Registering your card required a payment of R1 and I had to do it twice. It is supposed to be refunded - lets see. Alas - then I get a phone call from them to say they changed systems and that I need to provide my cheque account details as they cannot pay to my credit card. This after I just spoke to them and they asked me to load and register my credit card details. I had no option to do it as well. I rent vehicles all the time. This has by far been the worst experience ever and I would recommend using the mainline car rental companies. Pace car rental is not up to standard and I will not use them again - and will advise anybody considering not to. They now have my credit card details and cheque account details which I had to provide - wonder how securely they will protect it..?? Don't use Pace - go somewhere else.
I just had such a bad experience at Clicks pharmacy Bassonia. My wife was there earlier today to request the repeat of our monthly scripts. The que was unacceptably long so she left it and came home. She then phoned in to arrange for the preperation of our scripts for collection later today. I went to collect the scripts at around 17:30. Again there was a significant que, but I went ahead to the collections counter. There was a gent before me but it took quite a while for him to be helped. After about 20 minutes, one of the pharmacy assistants told me to get in the que as they only help the customers from there.. I was not happy as this is never the case at any other Clicks pharmacy and complained to the Clicks Bassonia manager. She said she would address the issue with the pharmacy manager. The pharmacy manager, Ester Theinissen then called me to give me my packets of pills as ordered earlier today. She was very unresponsive when I complained to her and refused to give me the name of the regional manager. Did not like the tone of my voice. Really??? Not at any Clicks pharmacy have we experienced this level of bad service before. We have been collecting scripts this way for 30+ years. To also not be able to complain is a joke..! Well thank you for all the years of service Clicks.. but I will submit my next scripts at Dischem!! If you are at all thinking of using Clicks pharmacy Bassonia - rather not!! There is a Dischem around the corner in Meyersdal or at Bassonia Crossing.
I took out a new data contract in Nov 2023. Part of the contract was a new router. All was good but the delivery of the router was made to my work address on a day that I worked from home. The router was returned to Vodacom. I requested delivery at alternative address but to this day I have not received anything. I have contacted Vodacom Online Sales over 10 times in the last 3 months and still I have not reveived my router. I have escalated to Kelly Leviton one of the supervisors but still no resolution. This is not our first run-in with Vodacom Online Sales.. We had to go to the ombud before to get a contract the done in the way it was agreed on day of sale. Vodacom takes no responsibility for any after sales service. The contact centres are useless and there is no ownership to resolve a query. After being a client for 26 years.. the time has come to consider another service provider..
Vodacom online sales - Purchased an item online. Wanted to check product details after I received incorrect description on confirmation e-mail. Phoned online sales to query - they could not help me as the item was not on account!! not the first time we had issues with Vodacom online sales. No guarantee that you will receive what you ordered. Worst online shop! Please note and do not use Vodacom online shop.
We got Protea Carpet Cleaners Alberton to clean 2 of our loose carpets. When they arrived, no Covid protocols were adhered to.. No masks, gloves or anything. They proceeded to perform their cleaning process by spraying a solution on the carpets and then vacuuming it with their machines. The carpets were not vacuumed beforehand and the spraying actually made the floor dirty underneath. When asking them about it, they said that they have to charge double to do both sides... They did do the other side reluctantly. I had to clean the floor as they went along as they did not care to put the “cleaned” sections on the dirty floor they created. They also did not have a mop or anything similar to clean the floor.. We had to provide and ask them to clean afterwards. Luckily the process was done in the garage.. The first carpet cleaned was a persian which did not look any cleaner than before. We actually cleaned portions of it afterwards with store bought dry foam and the result was much better than that used by the company. We requested a refund for this carpet which they refused. They claimed to have made contact to arrange a re-clean which never happenned - not that we will allow them anyways.. Very un-professional service from Hannetjie and Tanya. We will not recommend their service at all. You are better off to rent a unit at your local supermarket and do it yourself.
Please do not even consider using Wondercoat Wall & Roof Coatings!! We used this company to do waterproofing and painting of our house. We are in year 8 of our 10 year guarantee and had to call them out for repairs every year. This is where the issues started. You need to beg for service and repairs to start. Then when they eventually arrive, they use subcontractors to do the work. And no - there is no supervision as originally promised. Our house have been scarred by repairs and the recent repairs have taken almost 2 months and still not done... work that should have been done in a week. The teams have no consideration for your time or property. They messed on paving, ballustrades, garden furniture and destroyed the garden. No other option than to go legal route...
