It's been TWO weeks that Brian/Nigel have not come back to me regarding the damage to my goods which were in transit from JHB to KZN. I've left messages every day, the messages are delivered but not opened. This is bejond a joke now.
Absolutely disgusting....... Since my last review, two weeks ago, I have been leaving Whatsapp messages for Brian or Nigel to contact me regarding the damage to my goods while in transit by their company. The messages have all been received but not opened. What must I do for them to acknowledge the problem and sort it out in an profesional manner by ignoring me is being unprofessional and downright rude.
Mid May I arranged with Brian of Seraphim for my furniture to be transported from JHB on the 2 June to KZN on the 3 June & arranged for a night at a local B&B on the 2nd. I paid a deposit of R4000 with a outstanding amount of R3000. They even had the wrong delivery address. Friday the 30th May I was told that it would cost a extra R4500 for extra labour because there were extra boxes. We were then told that they could only deliver on the 3rd June, It cost us a extra night sleepover. Brian said he would speak to his boss about the R4500. Joke. I spoke to Nigel about this extra day & he started SHOUTING at me, very rude & very nasty. If that’s how they treat their customers, they should NEVER be in business. On the 2nd they sent a message saying they would phone me “before close of business” that day regarding the delivery time. The driver phoned me the NEXT morning at 8:30 saying they were waiting at the gate. When the furniture was picked up in JHB it was placed in a closed truck, when it was delivered in KZN it was on a trailer covered with a tarpaulin “unacceptable”. We started unpacking the next day only to discover the TV was cracked and the glass of the one display cabinet was cracked. I sent Brian photos of the damaged TV & display glass. Brian said he would get back to me by 12 that day. Another joke. My last conversation with Brian he was extremely evasive. I told him I would not speak to Nigel again because of this rudeness. THESE PEOPLE CAN’T BE TRUSTED. To date I have not heard from them

My Mom had passed away & I was looking at cashing in my one Liberty Life policy, which I had been paying for 10 years already, to pay for my Moms funeral. What transpired was nothing but outrageous. Mr Steve Nel advised that I was getting confused with a previous policy I had cashed in some years ago. I explained to him the reason why I needed the cash. He said he would look into it. I received calls & emails from different departments canceling the policy. The more I told them I don’t want to cancel & that I was maybe looking to cancel as I needed the money for my mothers funeral. On the 22/8/22 Mr Nel denied ever telling me it was a high risk policy as the cancellation dept told me & that he would look into it and get back to me ASAP. I have not heard a word from him since. I’ve been paying for this policy for ten years & if I cancel I get NOTHING. Incidentally, they have cancelled the policy on a assumption. Liberty will score +- R82000.00. Is that fair?????
19 years of outstanding service at BOSCH, MECHSPEC Auto, Midrand, with the odd hick-up and it all goes to pot in months. I’ve never had such disgusting service in my life. There’s got to be something wrong when the 1st time I phone Swanie (the service manager) he’s busy with a payment. I must call back. Second time I phone he’s busy with a customer. I must call back. The 3rd time he bites my head off. What the hell!!! As I have always had TOTAL TRUST in them, I purchased a vehicle from the owner only to discover the lambda sensors are faulty, besides other faults. The car was there for 3 days last year the fault was NOT rectified. Now I’m concerned because I know they jippo vehicles be putting “Muti” into them to hide faults. I have been trying to get hold of them to have these faults fixed for over 6 months. I’ve left numerous messages to no avail. I’m ignored. That’s no way to treat a long standing customer...
Referring to my review on the 26th I've still had no response from Intercape, which read as follows : My 85 year old mother booked a seat on Intercape from Midrand to Kuruman for Saturday the 22nd June 2019 at a cost of R314.00. When I asked the driver if my mother could sit down stairs in front he said the seats were fully booked. A Lady that was sitting in front offered up her seat for my mother. The driver was very rude & arrogant. He also nearly left a passenger behind. Yesterday I booked a seat for my mother to come back from Kuruman to Midrand this Saturday the 29th. ONE WEEK FROM THE 22ND TO THE 29TH THE PRICE HAD RISEN TO R1112,00. How the hell can the price rise by R798.00 in one week? I spoke to Samantha of Intercape today & she had a I don’t care attitude. As far as I know the front seats are reserved for the ELDERLY & DISABLED. She kept on saying to me that seats can’t be reserved & the price is what it is as it’s school holidays & peak time. IT WAS PEAK TIME ON THE 22ND AS WELL. So please tell me what’s the difference in the school holidays & peak time between the 22nd & the 29th!!

I've been banking with Standard since 1986. Well that's about to change!!!!!!!!!! I have items for sale on OLX. A very arrogant man called David contacted be requesting my banking details to transfer the money and send someone to collect the items. I told him that I won't release the goods until the money is in the bank. He invariably deposited a cheque into my bank. Yesterday the cheque was returned. I CAN'T BELIEVE WHAT STANDARD BANK HAVE DONE. THEY HAVE RETURNED THE CHEQUE AS UNPAID FROM MY ACCOUNT. So any monies currently in my account have been deducted from the check amount and any further monies coming into my account will be deducted from that amount. How in the hell can they do that??????????? AND STANDARD BANK ARE CLOSING BRANCHES PUTTING A STRAIN ON SMALLER BRANCHES SO THEY CAN SAVE MONEY. BULL****!!!!!!!!!!!!! Clients now have to travel further to get to a branch. I AM ABSOLUTELY FURIOUS.
