Always friendly and customer service topnotch in Afrikaans
Good day. Quick question. I'm registerd with Experian My credit check online. When I check my credit rating it's listed as GOOD. When I go to my Capitec app to check my credit rating, it says WEAK. Am I just stupid or can somebody explain to me why 1 companies rating is different with Capitec?
Terrible customer service Autoboys Malmesbury. Been calling for nearly two weeks and nobody been taking 1 minute to call me back. Called again this morning and the poor receptionist tried to help me now. Thought it's a good idea to mention it on Hellopeter. Everybody apparently too busy. But let's give them a second chance.
I've been waiting nearly 6 days for feedback from Teljoy to find out if I've been credit approved for a TV set I want to rent to own. Documentation been send through their Whatsapp platform, but everytime they say someone will contact me withing 24 - 48 hours. I'm in studio most of the day (Monday - Friday) and I've asked them to either send an sms (which they said they will) because I can't answer my phone all the time. It looks like Teljoy does not want my business, so i'm cancelling my application. First impression :-(
After my father passed away, me and my 74 year old mom drove all the way from Malmesbury to the Worcester Telkom store to do change of ownership into her name (death certificate and mom's new Id in hand). The sales person was really really nice to us and we even talked about her service and how Telkom got such a unnecessary bad wrap. Anyways, this morning I just have a query about how long it takes to do the transfer so that I can get my mom's new account number and create new profile on Telkom app. Telkom lady told me that she doesn't know how long it will take, and that I can do the transfer of ownership on the website, which i told her in return that everyone else from Telkom said that it can't be done on website but in store. I told her that we drove yesterday for more than an hour to the Worcester store. But that was it....she didn't have anything else to say and was not of real help to me. I also have a problem with the landline phones (that works with sim) that seems to be not working most of the time. I want to report it and after numerous phonecalls got to an orders guy who told me that I must go to Game and Makro to look for phones that can take sim cards. I told him also that my mother is legally blind, and that I'm paying month by month the account and that he must please look around and find out about phones for people with disabilities - even if he can google and find out for me where I can buy such phones (or then in return send me a brand new **** telkom landline). Again, no help was offered, no enthusiasm whatsover, don't give a **** about my elderly blind mom, and phonecall was ended right there. I don't want to cancel the service but then again, maybe I should investigate VOIP options or other services. Can't believe in this day and age there are still people out there providing a **** business. Its some Telkom staffs cluelessness that is giving Telkom a bad reputation. Poor people. I just had 3 simple questions for Telkom, now I'm more confused and even want to cancell my service....and that because of 2 people from Telkom. Wow....still angry
Applied for 2 loans in 2016 (needed money for treatment). For few months i couldn't pay and was handed over to TSLegal services where I've made an arrangement to pay off (since beginning of 2017). Today i've found out they charge so much interest that since 2017 January, i literally only paid off the interest and i propably still have another 2 years to pay off (thought i would be finished and get my credit record back). and now in covid, people need more money than ever. I know it's a bank thing, but banks definately don't give a **** about working class south africans. Just had to vent!! :-(
I want to thank Gavin Smith from Citroen/Peugot Tygervalley for assisting me with the trade-in of my car. Excellent service and just an awesome guy. He and his team listened to my situation (loss of my father recently as well as Covid salary cuts) and went out of their way to help me. I did end up with a new car and a much lower installment that will help me in my current position. Please support them because they are truly professional, great listeners and extremely passionate - and they have great coffee :-) Thanks Gavin and team
I've applied for a cellphone contact online, and the next day I spoke to an agent that spend 15 minutes with me on the phone. According to the process I was approved for a mobile contract, and within 24 - 48 hours my debit order will go off. 3 days later I called to follow up (9 May 2019) and the gentlement informed me that the debit order will either go of on the 9th, or the 10th. - no problem. Haven't received any mail/sms confirmation yet so I called again today (10 May) to try and track my order. Spoke to a very kind guy who looked on the system and could not pick up any order - no trace of me anywhere. So I kindly asked him to please start the application again, but he then told me that I don't qualify for the same contract. I really really really don't understand how Telkom operate. I want to scream from frustration because we work hard for being able to afford a contract, but there's no communication and it literally feels that someone is lying to me or Telkom's operations are up to ****. Reading through Hellopeter and thousands of other reviews I understand now exactly where their frustrations come from. What happened to service delivery Telkom? Or should I come and train your people what customer service are?
