Since the 24th January 2022 ( 4 & half months later) I'm still trying after many attempts to get my phones repaired by the Franchise. In separate instances I bought phones from their Hatfield & Arcadia brunches. In Hatfield Pretoria, I bought their Doogee flagship phone, the Doogee Y9 Pro for R2 200. It lasted exactly 12 months and the phone just Died a day after its warranty date expired, so I could not claim the free repairs so they said. Instead of making a Fuss, I left that brunch and later on the week I bought the Figi Note 1 Pro also for R2 200 at their Arcadia brunch. 3 months in with the new Figi Note 1 Pro, it cracked the inner screen and so I took it back to the Arcadia brunch and gladly took it in and said it will be fixed in 30 working days time. Fortunately they did call me to collect the phone in time and it worked great. After 3 months using the newly repaired phone, It also just Died. Switched off with no sign of "life" because I was trading online I panicked and charged it. Hours with nothing. First thing in the morning I took it back to them and explained what's the problem and they said okay they will book it in again. They did the protocol inspection for any physical damage and found nothing. They wrote on their repairs slip their findings and gave me my copy. Same day I went to get the older Doogee phone I just left after buying the Figi Note 1 Pro and took it where I bought it in Hatfield for repairs also. Without haste they booked it in and same protocol inspection and they gave me also the repairs slip. Months went, petrol got wasted going back n forth to both Branches looking for my phones. Many creative excuse where said at both branches. Months in the waiting for any further information I got a call from the Arcadia brunch informing that the head office said that I should pay R1 500 to replace the CRACKED SCREEN. Remember I bought the phone for R2 200. I told them hold on. My phone is in for NOT SWITCHING ON, and not a CRACKED SCREEN. They say that no it is cracked and they wanna know if they should repair the screen for R1 500. I told them NO and they must bring it back so I can take legal actions with the South African Consumer Board. Now I'm waiting for the Arcadia brunch to bring it back. And the Hatfield brunch has been silent with no information whatsoever. Please help me get justice as a consumer and loyal citizen of this country.
I had a very awesome experience at the Checkers at the Loftus Versfeld. It's very clean very packed and all the food is well displayed. There is a huge variety of products brands. I spoke to the store manager and boy what I cheerful chap!!!! I remember telling him how wonderful it is shopping there. It's not crowded, they followed Covid-19 protocols. The store manager is a guy by the name of Clement... I didn't get his surname but I told him he deserves a pat on the back for his management system.
Me and my lady had a wonderful experience as first timer buyers of a financed car. We been thinking that we do not qualify and it's not for us. But after my brother told me about an advert or post on facebook from the sales assistant at BB used cars. Saying that they help people like us to get their dream cars... The lady was Zikhona and she was just wonderful, we got the car within 5 day, got all the papers and double disc in no time... I was so impressed I had to share with the world. The staff from management to the cleaning lady made me feel so special when I was at their shop. They all deserve a special shout out for their incredible work ethics they have. Salute!!!!
Ronald Nkotsi: was the guy that helped me when I was in need of help. I was going to a family wedding and 35 km away from home we got a flat Tyre on the spare wheel. I was told that help will be there within an hour and I was asked if I want to make other alternative plan. Becuase I was not really that far from home, Ronald spoke to my best friend and he managed to drive from his mother's house and came to borrow me his other cars spare wheel for the weekend... Ronald was always checking on me if I got home safe and everything... Big up
