Why am I being forced to have a capitec Sim card to just open an account for a child? Why is it like that? This is bullying, I mean I should purchase another phone to insert a card into it to be able to have an account? Stop operating like a fly by night, if your Sim card is nonsense, why should I use it?
The Iwyze WhatsApp line is helpful and doesn't take much of your time. I find it better than phoning, and you don't have to repeat spelling now and again, when you making changes, as you can just type normally. I saved lots of airtime, plus I can multitask, and still get help.
The discovery medical aid saver is not enough for pregnancy, which they claim it does. My MSA is depleted due to multiply claims for the so called maternity benefit. We had a c section at mediclinic and all the medicine was purchased using the MSA, what does the hospital benefit do? You claim that hospitalization is full cover but the medicine is not. Discovery medical is just a well marketed nonsense, not different from other low level schemes. Now the MSA is depleted, and I am expected to pay out of pocket for the c section follow ups. Their suppose post delivery benefit is a psychologist, but who needs a psychologist while in stitches? Are they going to help wirh the pain?
Access facility is a ****. My outstanding debt is 68K but I am still charged for the initial 100k I took, this is after I made a lumpsum towards it. I queried this on the 28th of December and it is not rectified even now. Section 125 and 126 of the national credit act seem not to work at Capitec. You guys are just good at calling to debate instead of looking into the account and rectify your nonsense. It's frustrating, it seems you forcing me to remain on the initial agreement even after the principal debt has changed. For this, I don't want, I want you to rectify it, don't call me with some complaints management nonsense. This is in violation of the sections 125 and 126 of the credit act.
I opened an access facility with capitec and used a portion of the money. Later on I deposited a portion of the money to reduce the principal debt but capitec is saying the principal debt can't be changed and will have to continue paying the initial debit, although the principal debt is now less. That's nonsense, how does access facility works? Is it a bond or a loan? Other banks don't do that, and you can't say I have to keep paying it for atleast 4 months. Access facility is suppose to stop and not pay, unless I have used it. Your agent is even telling me that I have to close it to not pay access monthly fee? That's not even stipulated in the contract. You guys operate like some loan shark from mdatsane in eastern cape. It's awful. Read on what aceess facility is and what you provide, it is not access facility. It's something else.
Some agent called and said they can beat the price am currently on but they couldn't. Miway was more expensive than my current insurer. A day later I received a text confirming that I have joined Miway, I've been trying to cancel it but I keep getting nightmares. I want you guys to cancel it. Even if I considered moving, after this experience I wonder if you don't use the same attitude towards claims. I already have insurance, why would I pay two companies for the same thing?
I asked capitec to increase my credit card from 20k to 100k so I can honour a purchase order, which I would pay back within 30 days. But I was offered a revolving credit, that charges me the minute I use it. I just want an interest free credit like a credit card. I am not happy. I have 100k on your savings account, how can I not be trusted? I even bank with you. This is the pits.
I updated my contract on Feb 2024 to a 120gb data but from last month it was changed to 40gb. I get two sms's that state that the 40gb and 120gb is provisioned but only 40gb reflects. I've called numerous times but I am not getting helped. Everyday I am told a different thing. I rather cancel it and default on this contract. I will just change my banking account. I can't keep doing this. This is the pits.
I had canceled my car insurance with number 1057112731 and on the app it shows that it is inactive and the active new one with number 1061299234. However, both was debited for the same car today. I mean how bad is the systems at iwyze that you can cover the same vehicle twice? I called again today but was notified that I will be charged R450 to reverse the money. What kind of charge is that? I regret using iwyze, it's not really worth it. These guys are pits and even so low than unisa systems. Let me get this right, on app a policy can be inactive but in your systems as active? You really need to employ gen z to synchronize your systems. R450 is alot of money due to some old people who doesn't understand cloud systems. People watch out for iwyze, miway is better.
My account balances have been wrong on my credit report for the last 2 months. It shows I have been over utilizing my credit and it keeps affecting my score and chances for other credit. I have contacted RCS but they keep transferring my calls without help.
