I've bought twice from Showspace and I am placing my 3rd order now. Great prices, timeous delivery. Absolutely fantastic.
My vehicle was moved from Durban (18/06) to Cape Town (25/06). I relocated and had loaded my clothes into the vehicle. When I unpacked the car, I discovered all my jackets were taken, the person selected all the expensive items only, K-way, Topshop, Woolworths. When I advised Grindrod I was told loose items are not allowed, so basically they can’t help me. However you have in your employ thieves?! No investigation? No further feedback? I will never use this company again!n
My vehicle was shipped from Durban to Cape Town. I dropped the vehicle in Durban on Thursday, 18 June 2020. I collected the vehicle yesterday, 25 June 2020. I had my clothes loaded into the vehicle but all were placed in bags and sealed. When I offloaded my vehicle yesterday, I discovered two jackets were stolen from my bag. A black K-way and a Woolworths denim jacket. When I contacted Grindrod I was advised that their policy does not allow for loose items on page two of their T & C’s. I have asked them to investigate and will take this at a loss however it is rather disappointing that a reputable company has staff that invade your personal space and steal.
Quiet honestly, after being your client for over 15 years; your service delivery is pathetic! I am from Jhb and visited your store in Ballito, I was advised I am due for an upgrade. I completed the paperwork with the consultant and she said, her manager will collect the phone from another store and she should have it by Monday. I received a text this morning advising me to collect. I drove from Stanger to Ballito and when I get there, they all seemed on edge when they went to look for the phone. I waited for 20minutes and they were still busy trying to book the phone out! I said I will come back. I return to the store and the consultant advised me that the phone was left on the shelf and her manager sent it back as a return. Which is absolute bull****!!! If her manager collected the phone, why would he send it for a return!!!! The assistant was so blasé about what transpired and wasn’t even going to try and get another phone. Her lack of customer service is appalling. All I got was, “you’re gonna **** me” and “I’m sorry”. The manager was there and never said a word!! Because they obviously booked it off to another client. I will NOT be renewing my contract as your staff are not even empathetic and do not take accountability for their mistakes. I’m done!!!
