I received a voucher and when I tried to order online with the voucher, it did not want to work. I then took a chance and sent an e-mail. I received feedback from Precious Kifuabala. She guided me by e-mail but still it did not work. Again, I sent an e-mail and she requested me to send her all my details and then she will do the online order for me. I had my doubts and really thought it was just another sales pitch. I was mistaken as she constantly kept in touch! Today I received my parcel and I am frilled as my daughter's 18th birthday is on 5 April and this came in very handy! Thank you Precious and Isabella Garcia for your superb service and you just made yourself a new customer!
1 star rating is far more than I want to give them! They are pathetic in service and their after sale service is beyond terrible. They are still deducting money from my LATE father's account even after he (before his death) tried numerous times to cancel the contract. Still even after his death I'm now stuck with incompetent people such as Lindley Larry from MTN Tygervalley who keeps on making empty promises and refuses to answer my calls and does not respond to my e-mail. Still money is requested from my fathers account and this is stealing from the dead and from the poor people left behind!
At first I was very impressed with the installation of my aluminium doors. I had one installed in my bathroom and one in my office going out to my garage. They also did some minor maintenance work on existing doors and frames. After a while my doors started sagging. I gave it another while and I phoned and tried to get hold of them to come and fix it. However, with no success. Only after a while I got reach of them and then they came to "fix" the problem. The result is that the doors are sagging again and it is now to such an extent that the doors are opening and closing with difficulty! The owner / director (Mr Fakier) does not respond to our e-mails nor tries to assist us. He now also states that as it is longer than 1 year (bear in mind it is JUST OUT of the 1 year period), it is no longer their problem and that we need to pay a call-out fee. They also blame my walls to be the problem
Pathetic service, ice cold service like a robot. What type of company has Cape Consumers become. After my fathers passing, the account that he was a member of almost 50 (YES FIFTY) years of, was merely cancelled. No condolences nor thank you for being SUCH a loyal client. No just a letter, that the account would not be able to be transferred to his spouse (my mother). She must now complete a new application form as if a new client. She too had a card and just like that. Good bye. Within a few minutes of this very impersonal telephone call that left me as cold as the day of my father's passing (not even 2 weeks ago)! Wow... I can remember that my dad used to tell my how proud he was to be part of such a great company and how humane they are and he referred a lot of our family members to Cape Consumers. He even had his insurance through them, which now is also going to be cancelled just like that as it is going off against his Cape Consumers account. Wow... What a shame that a VERY AFRIKAANS company is such a disgrace and shame to our nation! Speechless!
