Dear MTN I hope this message finds you well. I’m writing to express my growing frustration with the lack of resolution I’ve encountered regarding my issue. Despite multiple attempts to contact the call center with likes of Mpho Phatswane, Sheila Naidoo, Mazwi Zuma, Matlhako Molepo all I have received are automated responses. Additionally, my efforts in-store were not met with Karabo Sizwe a similar lack of no support, despite providing all with relevant information to cancel a 36 month completion of contract on last year the 4 th of December 2024 which left me feeling like I was hitting a brick wall both with call centre they don't answer their phones automated AI responses since the 29 th November 2024 have been in store and nothing was done to my surprise beware consumers this is how MTN deceived their clients consultants require commission hence cancellationof a completed contract affects their commission hence the procedure was not completed both in store and on the call centre have provided all information of the inappropriate deceit to Icasa the ombudsman this is the only time MTN has now taken seriously however have given prior notice already last year Tommy surprise no credit note issued to date only another invoice when liased with Mpho Phatswane this year she deceived me further. As a result, I’ve escalated the matter to the ombudsman to seek further assistance and ensure that future consumers do not face similar challenges. It seems that MTN's sales team is more focused on commissions than on providing proper customer support. This, coupled with the fact that I’ve already provided all the necessary information, makes it extremely frustrating that MTN continues to interrogate me as the client. Furthermore, I’m left wondering: What is the purpose of the reference numbers provided by MTN if they do not lead to any meaningful resolution or communication? I trust you will assist in resolving this matter promptly, as I am a very concerned customer who feels deceived. Have had this MTN contract since ,2007 to current 2024 have always paid up timeously and this is how MTN deceived clients when we request to cancel upon completion of the said contracts.
