Busyness prevented me from going to the busier malls, so I opted to go to the Acropolis mall which was relatively quieter and finding parking was convenient. I went to the Target store and was pleasantly surprised by their prices. The items I needed was cheaper than most stores by R1 or R2. Might seem like small change but all those R1's do add up. The staff was friendly and professional and even smiled and greeted customers. Perhaps with the upcoming buzz (#BlackFriday) , their prices might even go lower. A little goes a long way. So If you're in the Phoenix area, please support this store.

It's amazing that availability for credit application facilities for new business and increasing credit limits are widely available digitally (via the app) or via the call Centre, while for credit closure facilities you need to go to the branch, it cannot be done via the app or the call Centre. Only at the branch. While branches have cut back massively on staff and in-house services. So this means long wait times and that I may have to spend 2-4 hours trying to close a loan account at the branch, time which I don't have. This was my third visit at the branch and due long queues, I had to leave, yet again. So well done Standard Bank, you get to charge me bank charges and service fee for another month because you proved, IT CAN'T BE done online.
Don't even deserve the one star. Pathetic, useless network providers. I cancelled my contract on 28 February 2021, giving 30 days notice. I called on the 2 April 2021, only to be told that my contract is still active and need to pay a settlement balance, which I paid. And now I hear that my account is in arrears after 2 x 30 days notice and settlement payment. How hard is it to carry out a simple cancellation instruction? Or is it last attempt to get money from an exiting customer?
Terrible service provider. You don’t get what you pay for. I got a 5mbps line, the Speed is always below 250kbps. Always buffering. It’s just the worst. I would not recommend them to anyone! WiFi always down! Service is totally unreliable.
A big shoutout the the Starwood Spar team in Phoenix. Well done on the ‘Click n Collect’ services rendered during the lockdown. Your services was professional and efficiently conducted. Hats off to you all. Well done and keep up the excellent service.
If you want poor Customer service, long wait times and arrogant Consultants that make it seem like they doing their customers a favor, go to Standard Bank Phoenix branch. They have definitely dropped the ball in their service delivery.
