Just reading through these comments as I have been back and forth with African bank since the 4th of January. It's kinda made things more clear to me, I think they have been wasting my time
I have had my card for 6 months every month they debit my account plus I also pay into it (extra). I applied for credit increase and they came back asking for my payslip. I sent that then they came back and asked for my bank statement. They have been debiting my account they have those details. I then called and spoke to them and they advised they need to see the money going into my account even though they had my salary slip showing those details? Yet all 3x when I called and challenged them with this back and forth they cut me off. This is not the first time to get disgusting service from financial services dept. Popi act? Maybe they shouldn't have our bank statements as a complete stranger is going through our details
great facility and excellent warehouse staff, unfortunately the woman that works in reception is quite rude
After applying for a credit card with Woolworths (I already have an active store card) I have been given the run around. Asking for my documents that they already have. I have been back and forth 3x and paying uber R200 a time and now they said my application has expired. When I initially applied they said that I must either send in my salary advice slip or bank statement, I sent my salary advice and they came back and said that I must send my bank statement. When I called them they said they are not accepting my salary advice? Yet I work for a national company that employs over 80 people and has been operating for several years. Eventually they accepted my salary advice. Then they sent my card to the relevant store, I was having a hectic time at work and I called them and they said to me I have 30 days to go and get my card. Approximately 10 to 14 days after that call, I went into Woolworths. A lady by the name Edwina said I need proof of address. (I am renting and all bills are included). So I tried to sort, I went to the police station to do an affidavit. I went back and was told by Edwinas colleague that I need to do their Woolworths affidavit. So I gave my landlady the affidavit and we went to the police station. I sent a copy via email to Edwina, and she emailed back and said that there was no designation on the affidavit and I must get it sorted, yet when I went back to the police station, and showed the police the email and they laughed as they said it was already there. There always seems to be long queues at the police station so going there three times was a great irritation, when only once was needed. Then all finally sorted and I went back to woolworths and Edwina said to me, I have sent you an email and your application has already expired. (to date that email has not arrived) I advised that I called and they told me I had 30 days that the card would be in the store, and she advised no 30 days since you applied for the card. But their back and forth took over a week, then lack of giving me all the information and being more transparent took a lot of that 30 days. Edwina then advised that I will have to reapply in 30 days, I got understandably upset so she called the call centre, who then advised no that I can reapply now. So she started the process then asked me for the exact documents that Woolworths already has? So she started filling in the details and then stopped, and advised no its the weekend and they are closed. I advised that in fact, I had received emails from their financial dept on the weekend and of course there was some excuse!!! I am starting to suspect that either they are being malicious and enjoying seeing me running around, or a disastrous admin system that lack transparency. Woolworths for such a great store this service is simply awful, it has cost me R800 in uber costs. I have no advised that on Monday if not sorted I am going to put a formal complaint in with financial services authority and the ombuds. But I am also thinking that they are simply being malicious at the store. Giving me half information
Truly great company, very professional! Thank you Glen for your assistance and taking my month end headache away. Highly recommended!!!
Deeply saddened that I have to go on here to get service from FNB, I have called about 6 times today, and spent well over 70 minutes "holding" and then supposedly been put through to someone. Phone calls are expensive these, days and FNB have spent a great part of my day and unnecessary expense and still holding and getting nowhere
A great lead generation company for All Financial Sector, Debt, Medical, all types of Vehicle, Security & Telecommunication Leads. We can easily achieve a conversion ratio of anything between 10-22% subject to the products you offer
Went to Clicks in Parklands (Cape Town), I know my prescription has expired however I went to chat and ask for the emergency 5 tablets they give as I have not been able to get to the doctor. I was met with a very rude, arrogant, condescending and confrontational man. Even when I told him to watch his arrogance he gave me a very aggressive look. Spoke down to me, like I was a complete idiot! Perhaps Clicks is hiring bouncers instead of customer care staff.
I have been forced to come here to this platform because of the shocking service from fnb. 9 phone calls later over R70 in phone credit used emails sent still nothing. I have just called again and the operator advised she is putting me through to "Fortunate" held for over 5 minutes and eventually got cut off from loans dept. Really sad that I have to come to hello peter because of such shocking service from fnb.
This is now my 3rd booking with Cape coastal accommodation through Shelley Havenga. Fantastic experience from start to finish, she has a great property portfolio, awesome service, and great communication. Thank you Shelley we will be back!!!
