I did write a 5 star review on this site earlier but my good friend has shared with me his experience.He had an account and has been trying to activate it.He has phoned the helpline numerous times and has now given up.With all the shocking reviews I am reading surely when you get a potential client you should treat his like gold not mess him around!!!!!!!He does not use Helopeter so I said I would try to get some life out of Hollywood for him.He is also a horse punter like me.
To be honest I only use Hollywood bets for horseracing and sports betting but I thought I had to comment after noticing so many bad reviews on the rest.Hollywood is quite easily the best racing and sports betting site available.I have had one or two issues and they were immediately sorted out by their very efficient helpline.The layout of the site has been consistently improved over the years and is the esiest to navigate of all the sites.To be able to get place betting down to 5 places and more is something not many sites offer.Thank you Hollywood for great experiences
I was not going to write this but when I was in their office in Ballito there was someone next to me who had the same experience.Ampath who later admitted they had put a full stop in the wrong place handed me over to vericred because I had not paid.The fact that I never had received a bill was not taken into account.They also said they sent me a letter.Does the postal service still exist in SA,who sends letters?Bottom line is to protect my credit rating I paid the few hundred rand plus collection fees and forgot about it until I am sitting in the office and heard a person having the same issue.The 1 rating is for their more than pathetic accounts dept.I have had no problem with the rest of their service
I am amazed that Tommy Hilfiger South Africa lets this site exist.It is obviously not legit as mentioned in the reviews.Surely their legal dept should be acting to close the site down.
I have just read some of the negative reviews and am a little astounded.My personal experiences with this company have been only exceptional from a service perspective and goods received.I have just dealt with them on an issue of my own making and the speed of response and the resulting resolve was world class.Thanks to the great staff team at Takealot
I have had a Hollywood bets account for years and of all the sites available I have always enjoyed this the most in terms of navigation of the site and also when I have been into the stores they are very helpful.I persuaded my son to open an account and he also enjoys the site.He got 7 legs of an 8 leg multiple in last nite going into a postoned game tonite so decided to check the cash out.There was not cash out option so he phoned in.The guy on the other end was not rude but most unhelpful.Is cashout only available when they feel like offering it or like overseas sites is it available all the time.I wonder
It is so sad to see all the negative posts about Edgars whose fall from grace and subsequent purchase is well documented.Helopeter is a recognised site for Industry feedback so it is even sadder that the new regime does not attempt to respond at all.I will not waste my time or effort in expanding on my problem but suffice to say that my account will be closed after 46 years of being open regardless of how hard they try to make the task.
I have been trying to register my account for Fica.I went to Springfield branch and gave them a certified copy of my i.d. and my lease.They took copies and said I would receice an sms within 24 hours.This did not happen.I emailed help line.Nothing.I phone and the guy says I need to email a photo taken by phone of my i.d.Why this is needed when they have a certified copy I do not know.Anyway I did it.I then followed up with 3 emails to tgeir fica sight and again.Zero response.Pathetic service.
