I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the handling of my retrenchment benefit enquiry and the insufficient payout I received. I submitted a claim for my retrenchment benefit and was paid only 3.75% of the total cover amount. This payout was far below what I expected and was not sufficient to support me during my job-seeking period. Given the nature and purpose of the retrenchment benefit, I believe this payout does not align with the policy’s intention. I recently queried the amount and have been following up consistently. However, I have not received any meaningful assistance or clarity. Each week, I am repeatedly told that feedback will be provided “next week”, yet no progress or explanation has been communicated. This ongoing delay is unacceptable and has caused significant frustration during an already difficult time. I trust that Sanlam values its clients and will address this matter with the urgency it deserves.
I took my car in for an inspection to Mercedes Benz in June 2023. I was told the car rims had a small stone that need ~R2600.00 for it to be removed, which I paid. My car's condition got worse, the real problem seemed to be the rear shocks and plugs, which were then ordered. It's almost 2 months since I've been waiting. I keep calling and checking how far the spares are and I'm given a run around. The manager was included in an email to request the progress on the spare and he did not respond. I honestly don't know what to do anymore because the condition of the car is worsening each time I drive it. My advise is to not take your car there. You might not get assisted!!!
I am very unhappy. I bought a car in 2022 November, a Mercedes Benz A35. It had rim issues (2 of the issues). They said they fixed them which they didn't. The car started giving rim issues mid-December 2022. I called them to order new rims, they only ordered 1. Whenever I call to ask the progress, they tell me they are unable to track the status. The bumper and spoilers of the car are literally loose and the car makes squeaky sounds whenever its elevated (driving into my parking). The car is shaking when I drive it even when I brake. The pressure gauges are also faulty, when I reset them, it becomes okay for a few minutes then starts being imbalanced. I had recently arranged with the sales manager- Khutso Pohotona, who promised to organize a courtesy car whilst they are fixing all these issues but he’s no longer answering my texts and calls. Before I was assisted by him, there was an intern by the name Khanyi Musina who gave the worst service ever. I’m really upset. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO BUY A CAR THERE!!!! I’ve had the worst experience so far, if I could, I would take this car back and get the car I traded in with back to me.
I have been paying this extended motor plan since September 2019. Now I just serviced my car today (28/09/2020) and I was told that I missed a payment which is a debit order in March 2020, which I know is a lie. So now I was not helped. I still payed the Toyota dealership where I took my car for service the full amount owed to them which was supposed to be covered by Innovation Group service extended motor plan. This is the worst company ever. I don't know if they are taking advantage of the fact that I'm an elderly woman aged 67.
I have purchased two items, a t-shirt and a dress which both cost me R848.00 in total on the 12th of August 2020. I sent two messages to the Help center since the money was deducted from my account but the order was canceled due to unsuccessful payment. The disputes I opened were never attended to since the 3 working days passed and no contact was made with me. I want my refund back. My order number is 400192325.
I took a phone insurance with them last year, I got robbed my phone 3 weeks back and followed protocol on the required documents which I had to submit. I'm still waiting. They said it takes 3 working days to process the claim but they did not keep their word. I would never recommend buying gadgets from them because you will not get what you signed up for. I am highly disappointed with how they deal with my claim, It's close to a month and the phone which I payed for. Every time I go the Incredible connection in Rustenburg they give a run around, never a straight up answer. I would not advice anyone to buy gadgets there or even to buy/ pay for the insurance!
