#BlackFriday - I get a mail from one of the promoters about the pan I was looking for. However, I am a director of my own company and do not have a personal account (i.e. do not draw a salary), thus my order was cancelled (my own choice), as AMC Cookware insisted that they cannot assist me, their procedures and policies requires a personal account. I have paid a previous order in 9 months (oriiginal term was 15 months), but previous good behaviour does not count for these guys. Are they prepared to bend the rules? No way!

I have been a client with them from 2010. However, during Covid I was forced to stop my membership, but the minute I could afford it, I joined them again. I am amazed with the service and support they have given me, and would recommend them to anyone that cannot afford a medical aid. claims@onegrp.co.za
Just for in case someone wants to buy something online from these guys, my advice DON'T. Confirmed order and paid 5th May 2023. Asked for this to be delivered today, as this was required today. All promises, e-mails, etc. that this will be delivered on Friday 15th June. Nothing. And I called them 9 times, and the call is just ended. We actually offered to collect the item, now the promise is that this is going to be delivered on 23rd June, far too late.

Since DOL have contracted the claims to Alteram, I have experienced the worst service since I have started assisting clients with online Claims. AND, DOL is so scared that their branches will close down, due to online submissions, they now insist that clients have to now come in and sign at the branches (and boy, those people are so 'friendly'). Before lockdown, 5 of my clients' submissions were accepted and they were paid. I am battling to have 2 clients paid since lockdown. Their service is pathetic, that is all I can say.
In Feb 2022 a policy held by my pensioner sister was cancelled. They tried to collect the premium again, which was returned by the bank, due to the fact that there were no funds, as I explained in the cancellation. On 2nd Nov 2022 they took the premium and on the 24th Dec again. I have been in contact with Niren at their office and was informed that the 1st premium was collected for the closure of the policy and that all debit orders were cancelled. BS! Today, the 1st Feb 2023 almost a year later, after I was informed that both premiums will be refunded. No refund, as Niren said, and I asked for proof of payment. In my eyes they are very incompetent when it comes to deleting debit orders and cancelling a policy, wonder if they will be so keen to pay out if a claim is handed in.
I have a Mr Price Mobile account - or actually had one. I actually contacted Mr Price via mail to find out if there is any insurance for loss of income on this, but the account was handed over to RL Daly Attorneys, so Mr Price chose to ignore my request. Now, this call center's employees of RL Daly Attorneys do not seem to make a note on their system. I have sent various emails, with the relevant documentation to show them I do not have an income, but as and when I get some funds, I do honor this account. But low and behold, they will constantly send mails or call me. I have now - thanks to new technology - blocked most of their numbers, but they are persistent and will keep on phoning, that after I have informed them that if I do not have funds, Mr Price can wait, seeing that they chose to ignore my request, as the funds I have will rather go towards food in my house than an outstanding amount of pittance. It seems they are illiterate, because they cannot put my request on their system, but will rather call so that whoever collect the arrear amount could earn their commission.
Believe it or not, I have been battling for 19 months to have some of my clients paid, and today, miraculously, I reached someone at the Johannesburg call center - an angel by the name of Mbale (Dandelion) Kumalo. Darling, thank you, DOL needs more people like you in their field ***
