I am sure Hachette is good where it is based, I think the UK? But in South Africa it’s not up to scratch. Emails go unanswered, concerns are unresolved. I pre-ordered the Disney crochet issue 6 and am yet to receive it, despite it being available for a while now. I imagine it will be out of stock and I will never receive it or I will have to find it in a store and purchase it, essentially paying for it twice. I am so glad I did not subscribe, as I am sure there is nothing wrong with their debit order system, that part of this branch of the company will probably be quite effective, the product and customer service, not so much, unfortunately. To be fair issues 1-5 were delivered without any problems, but then 6, it has ruined the entire experience.
I phoned to cancel my vehicle insurance as I was given a much cheaper premium from a different insurer. Sandile convinced me to stay, reviewed my premium, sold me household insurance, and after all that, I will still pay less than the competitor's premium ... now to cancel my brand new insurance agreement. Thank you, Sandile; you are a legend.
It’s a scam, and I fell for it. The website no longer exists, they are not Googleable. Before the website disappeared I realized that the reviews were taken off SHEIN and the names and locations of changed to make the site local. After the order was “sent” I received an SMS requesting I pay import tax for something, I ignored it and today decided to check it out and that website has disappeared too - Perk is an elaborate fraudulent scheme.
Like so many people I have been waiting for outcomes and refunds for comair flights. I am sure call centers have been flooded with annoyed passengers. Today I missed a call from Ntombi from Vitality to inform me that it has been sorted - thank you Ntombi, you wonderful human!
I made use of express airport parking in May 2021 and while in the air my car received a fine for being illegally parked at the airport. I was made aware of the fine in August when FinesSA sent me a statement. I then contacted express airport parking to notify them and ask them why I was not made aware of the fine in May. A week later I was asked to email the fine to them, which I did. And have never heard a word from them. There are so many of these services around. Don’t use this one. It’s not worth it.
It’s easier and more pressing to complain than to say thank you. I have consumed thousands of great pods from caffeluxe. And two absolute horrid one. And so I reached out to say, wow those were bad. Given that it was part of a special I had no hidden agenda or refunds or replacements. But within a week, replacement pods arrived at my office. 8/5 for customer service. Thank you for fantastic service.
