The only bank I have been with for so many years, finally has succumbed to SA non service delivery. My credit card was ****med by Uber Drive (not sure how, I last used them in November 2023). To get through to ***** division from the UK was an absolute mission. Couldn’t call 087 number and calling international is £3.50/minute. Finally got a service agent that called me on my UK number, very helpful. I explained that I needed my new card sent to me in the UK. It arrived today and the card is under my wife’s name !!!! Tried to get hold of an agent on the service chat for over an hour. Zero response. Need my credit card for car hire on weekend so pretty *****ed.
I have been with Absa for years. I have moved to the UK. I have been trying for months to change my address and phone details through the app. IMPOSSIBLE!!! There is an option to download your lease agreement as proof of residence. Still no joy. My credit card was due for renewal and of course it was sent to my SA address where I no longer reside. No response to my queries. Best advice to anyone immigrating, Close all SA. Bank accounts as transacting once you’ve moved makes it very frustrating.
<div>Disappointed with SAR. They ask you to pay in full including insurance. I had 1 box that was opened in transit (presumably) and certain items were missing. There was some damages which I have been trying to resolve since February. Mails and messages take weeks to answer and there is no light at the end of tunnel. I was warned by other SA citizens on a Facebook group not to use SAR. I was reassured by ++++ that all would be fine. ++++ in claims does not respond or give feedback.</div>
I cancelled my fibre line on 16 October as I was relocating overseas. I asked to cancel my stop order I received confirmation of cancellation from Vodacom. 01/12 stop order went through again, nobody responds to Emails.
*******. Allow to make a booking online, payment straight off your credit card. Email later saying booking cancelled due to availability. No means of following up for a refund
Box office rental is a joke Code doesn’t work with sms, finally managed to rent online, money off my card, no message on extra view to accept and watch movie. HELPLINE!!! Good luck …. Keep my R40 and will never ever rent again. Spend my money on Netflix
Ordered home delivery 24 November. Meat items charged was the /Kg price instead of the actual weight of product. Charged Kg price of 119.99 for mince meat instead of R53.24 & R62.39=R115.63 Charged Kg price of 181.99 for lamb chump instead of R72.07 for 3 chops. Numerous calls and mails with photos through their app, no joy!!!! No refund. DISHONEST AND **** POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE ASAP - As soon as possible, except when it comes refunding you.
Woolworths dash service are thieves Charged for items that was not delivered. Mailed them 2x and spoke to service agent. Still no joy, no refund. Unacceptable
Pathetic service. After 6 calls, still no internet connection. Router faulty. Nobody gets back to you, have to follow up constantly and get asked to reboot. !! Paying for a service that is non existent
Vodacom are quick to become your ISP sending door to door sales people to connect you to fibre. Installation by Openserve was 5* Trying to communicate with Vodacom to ensure live activation date and debit order details is IMPOSSIBLE They don’t read queries properly, they don’t respond when you complain and good luck trying their customer service helpline.
