Within 8 days of reporting my issue with WebAfrica, my issue was resolved ,cancellation accepted and waiting period waived. I’m back on fibre with Afrihost. So happy with prompt action by ISPA in resolving the impasse. Thank you Mr Charles Reuvers
In May I ordered migration of fibre services from my previous ISP to Webafrica. Start date was 1 July 2023. After WhatsApp chats, they activated the line from their side. After hours of technical mumbo jumbo on what I must do, I asked for technical assistance. They promised to send Dial-a-Nerd whose fee was promptly charged on my account. Been waiting for him since Sunday. With no Internet service from 1 July to 5 July, I cancelled the order. They are charging me R999 for a router they know they never delivered. They are cancelling the ‘service ‘ only from 1 September 2023. I’m being punished for an order they didn’t deliver and daring to go for another ISP who is now stuck and unable to migrate me. WebAfrica knows I have no service and I paid for a technician that never came. This vindictiveness shows lack of integrity, ethics and professionalism on the part of Webafrica. They deserve half a star
Car track devices drain batteries. I asked them to fetch their device after 5 power failures on a car less than a year brand new. Then they told me about a 3 year contract or a big settlement. I preferred to pay for a device that they have in their warehouse or in someone’s car. For the next 2 and half years. Despicable service. Crooks of the century
I booked an airline ticket for 22 October to 26 October 2020 from Cape Town to Mthatha. I used their website and could see every ticket had a JHB stopover. On confirmation I noticed that the return date was extended to 27 October with an unspecified sleepover in JHB. I immediately queried this and was told this was the flight I chose as others were fully booked. I told them I have used their agents before and none have worked outside the stipulated dates. They never refunded me. I had to buy another return ticket via the airline. They advised me to book directly with them next time. Their number in CPT is never answered. Horrible service
I am being harrassed by Beamie/ Telematics, a car tracking company. I sold the car with their tracker back to Imperial Ford where this was installed. There was no explanation that this was linked to a contract as there was no one from Telematics at the dealership. Nor did they sign the so called binding contract. I have told them I will not pay a cent to a service I no longer had. Telematics said I must ask the buyer to take over the contract , which i refuse to do. Please do not be fooled by any dealership to use Mix Telematics/Beamie.
