Following a lightning strike, I had to get quotes for a replacement TV and decoder for insurance purposes. I contacted a few companies, Game being one. I e - mailed them, and got a response saying they couldn't quote because I hadn't provided an order number. I explained there was no order number, this was for me to submit to insurance. Another response again said I needed the order number to get a quote. I rep**** with my usual story. I was then told that the 58 inch tv's are no longer produced. I said fine, quote me on the equivalent model in the bigger size. Then I was told they couldn't quote me because my one hadn't been purchased from them, and to quote on a bigger unit would amount to insurance ***** which they would have no part of!! Come off it game. My quotes are to be submitted to my insurance company, who I have already been in touch with. Let them decide if I am committing ***** or not! Who are you to judge me? Disgusting service.

I'm so over miladys. Yet again I had a problem with returning an online order. Previously I've only been given vouchers for returns because the card I use for online shopping stays at home. The problem with vouchers is that THEY NEVER HAVE MY SIZE INSTORE , especially pants and only occasionally tops. Apparently there's no call for it. There's no way to redeem the vouchers for an online order, so they stack up. This time I made sure to take my card with me. But no, I didn't produce a receipt, so no refund. You don't get a receipt says me, actually you do says the staff member. After a heated discussion and my proving I did the order from my phone, I was refunded. Not without a lot of talking between the staff, which I pretty sure wasn't complimentary. I also collected an order and was told 'there's definitely a receipt in there, I can feel it'. I get home, lo and behold, no receipt. So if I need to return any of these items, I'm in for another fight. THERE IS NO RECEIPT. So we have no stock in store, 2 weeks delivery time when ordering online, and wrong information from staff about returns, with an argument every time. Sadly miladys is the only place that does my size (48) so I'm stuck with them , and I like their products. I am very happy with my latest purchase. A tale of two stores.
My first time shopping at this store, and it certainly won't be the last. My order was delivered less than 24 hours after I placed it, by the always efficient courier guy. The prices are beyond compare, and I got my granddaughters Christmas sorted in one day. Well done and thank you.
I ordered a top online. I received it, but it was long sleeved instead of short sleeved I very rarely wear long sleeved. However I assumed it was my error and as the top was nice I kept it. Looking online again several weeks later I saw the advertised top is indeed short sleeved, there is no long sleeved option. I tried to contact miladys via what's app, but got various options of complaint from the bot, none of which app**** to mine. I still put in the complaint but the bot of course didn't register it. So again no recourse. I don't want to return it, it's too late now anyway, but I need to lodge the complaint of false advertising. Miladys is notoriously difficult to contact.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! You have been warned! Plenty of reviews on Parkvia, most of them excellent. I can only think they're mostly ****. We booked and paid 50% via Parkvia and got confirmation from them. The day before we left we whatsapped the company inquiring about balance of payment and how we'd recognize them at the airport. We got no reply. We phoned, no answer. 3rd call we were told they would recognize our car/registration. By now we're concerned, but deposit had been paid. On arrival at the airport, no one was there to meet us. We did manage to get through to them they after the 3rd go and we're told the guy 'had been there all the time' dropping off other cars. The driver said there was 'no record of our booking'. By now it was too late to find and alternative so we let it go with reluctance. We messaged them the day before our return to confirm, and they rep**** saying they'd be there to meet us. On our arrival home, after 24 hours traveling, 19 of them in the air - no car. We walked up and down, no car. We managed to get through to them. First call - 'I'll phone my drivers and come back to you'. ,we were put on hold for several minutes we hung up, called back, went to voice mail. 3rd call we're told ' they took the wrong car, it's the same as yours with two digits different in the registration, I'm sending the right one now it'll take about 10 minutes. 30 minutes later it eventually arrived. The driver gave us a R90 discount because the car hadn't been washed. My husband vented to him, he said he was only the driver, but he did take a photo of our WhatsApps to them and their replies. Shocking service after a long, tiring trip.
I complained about miladys in November. They reply, but, as expected, nothing has changed. No stock in store, no sizes online. I looked a tops the other day, out of about 8 I liked, not one was in my size, several didn't go above 40. I think it's time for miladys to be held to account for false advertising.
Amazing experience with this company. Quick, efficient and an absolute pleasure. I dealt with Kelly who was incredibly helpful. I liked that I was notified about the order status each step of the way, and the courier service was just as efficient. A very special touch was the invoice telling me the order had been packed by Gertrude and checked by Patrick. I loved the human touch. Excellent company to deal with. My second order is already en route.
It's very frustrating that the only miladys branch in the upper highway doesn't carry stock in the bigger sizes. Apparently this is because they don't sell, and as far as I know this has been the case since last year at least. Well the last two times I've been in there there has been at least one other person looking for the same size as me. The staff tell you order online. But what about trying on? With all the different styles (I'm particularly looking for pants) I have no idea what the fit is like. Yes, you can return, but what a hassle, you then have to start from the beginning again. Alternatively they will order for you. Two weeks delay. Then you can go back to try on. If you don't like them you start again. I wonder how miladys can advertise their big sizes and not stock their stores with said sizes. One other issue is that a lot of their online stock does not go up to 50 as advertised. Much of it stops at 46 (I'm 48), a lot of it even smaller. I've written to miladys about the issue but never received a response. Is it really too much to ask to be able to walk into a store that advertises certain stock but doesn't even carry it. I've been shopping there for decades but find myself looking more and more for alternatives.
On October 5th 2023 I wrote a review of this company. Although the facts haven't changed, I must record that admin did get in touch with me a few days later. I had, by that time, tried to order one last time, and all glitches seem to have been sorted out. My order went through quickly and easily and I received my goods yesterday 9/10/23. Therefore I must change my star rating.
