I went in store 3 weeks ago and purchased a number of items for delivery. The first time they apparently came to deliver was the incorrect date, and never called me to inform me they were here. I scheduled for delivery on 2 October, followed up twice and was informed that it would indeed be delivered on 2 October. I called on the day and they confirmed that the items were out for delivery. They never came. I went into the Strubensvalley store on 3 October and was informed by the employee in the delivery department that it was their mistake, and that he would ensure the items would be delivered within an hour. 2 hours later I called and was informed he was waiting for the truck but promised that it would be delivered. I called another two times over the next few hours after no delivery, and was promised every time that it would be delivered on 3 October. No delivery came. This has been ongoing for 3 weeks, I have spent over R10 000 at Makro and have nothing to show for it other than empty promises for items that never get delivered.
Signed an application form at one property, and then viewed another property with the same company the same day we were approved for the first property. I received a call from David Raath in the most disrespectful tone informing me that he will not do business with me due to how unethical I am, this being despite no lease agreement ever being signed. We only completed a credit check consent form. He continued to to inform me how unethical I am, how he will never do business with me, and how he will be reporting me to the legal practice council after I requested his professional details relating to the estate agency board. Absolutely appalled how I was spoken to, and how he conducts his business. If this is how he treats you before signing a lease agreement, I can only imagine how he will treat his tenants. Would never recommend David Raath or My Next Properties. I will definitely be taking this further.
Friendly staff, fantastic service and speedy pay out. Took a total of 24 hours from logging claim to receiving payment. Even claimed for after hours for our dog, and they paid out the full amount with no questions asked. Would highly recommend. Belinda Whiteside
Purchased a USB Hub online during lockdown. It stated that the order would be processed and delivered within 5 to 7 working days from 17 April 2020. Still only says payment received on website. No tracking available. I have sent 2 e-mails to incredible. 1 requesting an update regarding my order and 1 requesting that the order be cancelled. I have not received any response and it has now been a week. No one answers no the number provided on their website either. Absolutely shocking service and customer care
Never purchase from Takealot. They provide their products at an inflated rate and then put them at a standard "special" price during their deals (which deals last an EXTENDED PERIOD of time) Absolute disgusting marketing and competition. Any computer components and/or equipment should be purchased from Evetech or Raru
