Remax rental deposit ****
I rented a 3-bedroom apartment from Ms. Helga Gouws (Remax Rentals Melkbosstrand) in De Aanzicht Balwin Estate in Richwood from August 2024 to February 2025. Initially, Ms. Gouws appeared to be very professional; however, concerns arose during the outgoing inspection report. I was charged nearly R5000 for the removal of 3 sticker hooks, securing a toilet seat, and repairing a small chip (about the size of a fingernail) on the external wall, which I believe was caused by the Home Owners Garden Services. These charges seem to be disproportionate in relation to the issues. Additionally, I was held responsible for damage resulting from recurring issues with overflowing raw sewage on the grass and pavement, which seems to be beyond my control. In principle, that is not how you treat your honest well paying clients.

This is truly a useless company. Gert gives you a quote, but they will never come out to do the job. Lizzy just made promises. Avoid as far as possible!

Dissatisfied with H2O Roofing and Waterproofing (PTY) Ltd ***ner: Rowland Mayer and partner: Emile Morsbach) Lack of Work Guarantee Honoring
I recently hired Rowland from H2O waterproofing for a painting and waterproofing project and unfortunately, my experience has been absolutely disappointing and regrettable. H2O was suppose to waterproof and paint some of the walls and the balcony around 2020. After numerous phone calls, whatsapps and messages to both gentleman to honor their guarantee starting 6 months after the job, nothing has been done to rectify their poor workmanship thus far. One of the main reasons I chose Rowland was because of their advertised work guarantee, and competitive pricing. However, when the same waterproofing issues arose again, they failed to stand by their guarantee, and I was left disappointed and utterly frustrated. Despite agreeing on the scope of the project and discussing the expected outcome, some of the same waterproofing problems occured after 6 months of finishing the job. There were paint bubbles along the pillars and boundary walls as well as similar waterproofing issues they were suppose to rectify. When I brought these concerns to Rowland’s attention and requested that they rectify the issues, they were unresponsive and did not honor their worthless work guarantee as promised. Furthermore, the lack of professionalism in communication was also concerning. When I eventually managed contact Emile to discuss the problems, I felt like my concerns were brushed off without any genuine efforts to address them. As a payed customer, I believe in the importance of holding service providers accountable for their promised guarantees. Unfortunately, Rowland and his partner Emile, disappointed me in this aspect. Therefore, I cannot recommend their services to others who are seeking reliable and trustworthy waterproofing and/or painters. I eventually had to get someone else to solve some of the waterproofing problems. Beware, their guaranteed, it is not worth the paper it is written on!! This state if affairs also made me believe that the few 5 star ratings are just *****ulent. In the future, I hope that Rowland takes the necessary steps to improve their communication, follow through on their guarantees, and ultimately deliver on their promises. STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO BE SORRY!

Horrible Eezi move furniture removal experiences
Avoid this horrible furniture removals. They caught me twice through their low rates. The firt move from Pretoria to CT my goods were stolen and damaged. Due to low price I got them again to move from Paarl to CT. A whole bag of shoes got stolen, and my gazebo, office chair, etc the first time around. Watch out, they hide some of the stuff in the cabin, so it is no use checking the back of truck. Rather go for more reputable furniture removal and pay a little more, than losing goods which will ultimately will cist you double.
