Confirmed appointment rescheduled at the last minute. Did not even phone. Just received an e mail which they did not respond to. Arrogant attitude when I phoned them. Having now read the reviews I had a lucky escape. Other bra companies with a better attitude and you do not pay for fitting. Let’s see if they refund me.
Why is FNB conducting a search on my credit profile without my permission? This is an abuse of my position as a customer of the bank and in contravention of the Popia Act which clearly states that it is ******* to request a credit report without the written consent of the consumer. MBG has had no authorisation from me to conduct a search. Searches affect my credit rating. Extremely concerning that one of the four major banks is involved in ******* activities.
Think twice before buying through Leroy Merlin online. I ordered a paper shredder. Followed the instructions but it stopped working after 2 hours. Reported it to the store. As it was a third party supplier they had to send an e mail to them which was only done after my second call two days later. I do not have the option to return it to the store or get a refund. I have to wait for the supplier and I have no control over that. Buy from Takelot who give a superb service.
I had a data contract with MTN from April 2019 to April 2021. I did not receive statements from MTN from August 2020 despite many phone calls. I went out of the country in April and as I was not receiving statements I was horrified to find out that instead of debiting my bank account for my data contract for R538.21 inclusive of Vat. I was charged R918.74 on my April 2021 statement and R2339.01 on each of my May and June statements. I cancelled my contract in May. Consumer services are useless They tell you to send an e mail which no one ever answers. There is not a telephone number for the Complaints division. I sent over 6 e mails to them with no response other than a reference number. I was then told to send an email to the management complaints e mail address which I did twice with no response. Under the CPA a supplier has to give not more than 80 days notice and no less than 40 days notice on a fixed term contract before the expiry of the contract. I received none. Also a supplier is not allowed to prejudice their customer by elevating the amount of the contract or charge. They must continue as before on a month to month basis. Despite being told they are clearly in contravention of the CPA MTN simply do not care.
