I am only giving 1 star to AlexForbes because I cant give them a zero. I have been trying to get funds moved from my previous employers pension fund to Alex Forbes. There are a few people with AlexForbes who have been helpful (Boitumelo thanks for trying to get this moving sisi). However Bongani has been really unhelpful, does not reply to e-mails and does not take calls. It's been over 7 months of trying to simply get funds moved to Alex Forbes however, no urgency, no response. In addition to this, I will be escalating this to my employer so that the are aware about the lack of professional service from AlexForbes, particularly Bongani.
My Vuma Wifi, which I get through Afrihost has been extremely poor despite upgrading to a bigger package and using an Wifi extender for downstairs. For this reason, I am seriously considering moving away from Vuma however this is not about that Vuma, its about the service I received from Afrihost online assistant, Imphile D. I just want to give a shout out to Imphile D for his/her assistance on WhatsaApp earlier. He/she was so kind, and refreshed my network including prompting me to upgrade my firmware and adjusting my setting on the router. Went as far as sending step-by-step guides on everything, waited patiently for me (I felt bad because we were online for an hour+), he/she also sent me instructions to fix my booster. My network does appear to be more stable after this assistance and I really appreciate it. Hope Vuma gets its act together. For now, all good.
I did not struggle with delivery etc. but the issue is with installation. The installers literally ignored all the soil we bought, where they did use soil the the grass is uneven. There has been so much rain since December but our grass has mostly thinned out. We have also been consistent in watering but this has also not been enough. Also, the grass comes with so many ****s which has been really unpleasant to look at. The prices for the grass was good but I am reminded that you get what you pay for.
Whilst the products look great, I have now been waiting for 3 weeks to get my order delivered. They have poor communication and have deliberately disabled their phone number. You cant even call them whenever there is an issue.
The experience was exceptional. My order was delivered in a matter of hours whilst also providing regular updates. I love the website and I am looking forward to using the platform for future orders. I recommend 100% without reservation.
I have been with Telkom for a while now but for some reasons they are the worst at choosing Vendors. A while back they were using Finrite for insurance. This insurance company was the worst. No customer etiquette or professional service. At least they picked up their phone shem. Now, they are using Nu Debt, a debt collection service that harasses their customers even when they have paid any debt. Went as far as putting a tracing notice on my credit bureau profile when payment was made more than a month ago. I keep getting e-mails about payment being due, default judgement. They dont reply to email and they dont pick up the phone. Not sure what needs to happen but Telkom needs to use service providers that are actually interested in rendering a service. I really cannot wait for my contract to come to an end because I have had it.
I have a contract with Telkom. My account was then in arrears in January. As soon as I was aware of this, I made payment to settle my account. Despite this I have been receiving one e-mail after the other from Nu Debt telling me that I owe money, that they will initiate legal proceedings for default judgment. It has been almost a month of such communication. Its been a month of having settled my account but just yesterday, I was informed that there has been a tracking alert that has been placed by Nu Debt with the credit bureaus which has an impact on my profile, whether big or small. Worst part? Nu Debt does not reply to e-mail or pick-up phone calls.
Private bankers at Standard Bank just don't take their customers seriously. It is more efficient to get things done through call center or branch. I signed up for private banking because they promised to be supportive and for the extra benefits. However, right now I 100% fell like its just not worth the monthly fee. No way it can take over 7 days to get a credit limit increase done.
