I never do online shopping and the very 1 time that I do, I get ****med :( I ordered what was supposed to be 3 genuine leather bags from My Leather Bags and after several follow-ups, I received 3 cheap **** bags. They advertise a closing down sale with beautiful pics. The website is myleatherbags.co.za - Zanele will respond to your emails, full of empty promises. DO NOT BUY, they are ****mers!!!
My daughter& I purchased a property. Velile Tinto Cape was the attorney transfers. I had a query and the person we dealt with downloaded a previous apartment purchase that I made via another attorney a few years ago. I emailed VTC to raise that they are not compliant with the Poppi Act. Who gave this employee authorisation to download a previous purchase that had all my personal particulars and share that document will all. The mail was forwarded from one to another and 10 days later I am still waiting for a response. Secondly, they input my daughter's details under my name. What an absolute disappointment to deal with this company.
I have been purchasing Wikideals for some years now and when I had previously requested a refund, it was processed with a small cancellation fee. I booked accommodation and need to cancel. When I called, I was told it can be cancelled since it's within 7 business days but will cost R25 admin fee which I said is no problem. When i called again to check on refund, they said they need confirmation that i had not stayed at the place. I have emailed them & tried calling but not getting a reply.
I purchased bulk order in the beginning of December 2023. 1 of the items was a 10-pack of globes which was damaged when delivered since the courier delivered in a courier bag & not boxed. I contacted Makro who advised that I should log the return on the website which i did on the day of receipt of item. That was on the 6 Dec 2023. I have since called, emailed, did a live chat and I keep getting the same reply - either log the call or it will be collected. I asked for a manager's email to escalate but that cannot be provided. Yet you have a specified time period to return damaged goods. Every week i get an email to rate the service & even though I rate 1, there is no action. How frustrating!
I bought a corner Daybed cash from Bellville Furnitures in Feb. They had it less 10% but the fabric I wanted I needed to pay more. When I received the daybed, it was the cheaper fabric and the top overlaps the bottom. I have made several calls & sent several WhatsApps, only to be told that in a surprised voice - did Jay-Jay not call you call or Jay-Jay is off sick. Bellville Furniture owes me the unit that I had paid for, now they conveniently ignore my WhatsApp messages.
I took out a contract at MTN Kenilworth Centre months ago. In addition, I purchased 1GB data. MTN has since given my son 500MB daytime date & 500MB night-time. Why would i purchase night-time data when we have unlimited wifi at home. My son has been back to Kenilworth Centre several times, was told they would resolve but nothing has been done. I've sent emails, nothing has been done. I've since had to purchase monthly 1GB @ R149 every month. No-one is interested in resolving this ongoing problem.
