I used Wikideals a few months ago for the first time and the purchase of a deal from which was something like a R 100 difference on the suppliers (Sheek Hair) full treatment price. What I got was the most awful treatment from the staff, damaged hair and evidence that the supplier is using **** products! After months of battling I finally got a refund from Wiki (Sheek Hair), but they would not give the address for service to this company as I wanted to report them to the ombud and potentially send a letter of demand for further damages. That being said, should I now judge every supplier on Wikideals by this experience? I thought I would give it another go - I was so so wrong. Wikideals say they are selling you one thing and then they try deliver another - I purchased a supposed foot pamper voucher with them from Mind Wellness Spa, Sea Point for a full pedi and gel, to be used on my birthday. I specifically messaged the supplier to check that this is what I was buying. They claimed the value was R 400. The morning of my birthday (yesterday) came along and they tell me it only includes gel.. no advertised pedicure. R 400 for gel, no pedi, after I specifically asked does it include pedi before purchase? This supplier made no attempt to fix it despite me saying that they have almost ruined my birthday plans! I found a full pedi with gel and had a wonderful experience despite last minute booking (the Royal treatment) at BOA instead (they have received a 5 star review from me) (just R 280) I sent an email 5 times already to Wikideals to request a refund without reply. I have been on hold on their phone line over 20 minutes right now and they don't answer - they just keep you on hold for 3-5 minutes and then put the phone down. I also just saw they are still even promoting the services of Sheek Hair! Have unsubscribed and now I am writing it down to Wikideals makes bad deals and promises based on this second experience. Fool me twice and all that. Tried and tested - this is truly awful every time.

Good day What a horrible experience!!! we booked our Valentines lunch on the Friday for the Sunday as they were fully booked the Saturday on Valentines, Sunday(15/2/2026) The food came and the meat was black and dry both the ribs and the wings, it was smothered in sauce to hide that it’s old. The chips was fried in old oil. We called the waiters and she removed the food immediately without even asking if she. A call the manager or replace the food. We insisted to speak to the manager. The manager said that Wikideals will refund me. He also mentioned that the food was made the day before on Valentine’s Day. How are you onboarding restaurants that gives old food? Wikideals still haven’t refunded my money.

I have never in my life regretted using wikideals as much as I have as of late . 1. To make contact. To update changes . To make contact details changes ( impossible) 2. To pause a deal ( impossible ) 3. The clients are impossible rude and abrupt because you have no time effort or energy to respond to them 4. My favorite part. After two months of doing deals I have yet to be paid . Hyperli has never given me these type of issues . Businesses are up and down all the damn time. We were so over booked trying to accommodate your deals we made absolutely no money! And then to still not get paid for it or receive one damn response only after I start turning your clients away do you guys have the nerve to start calling me . I want to be paid what im owed. I want you to refund your clients for the vouchers I will not do . And I want all my deals removed . Absolutely ****ty service towards for the clients and the partners

I bought a couple massage voucher with Mood Beauty. Tried to make an appointment with Mood, no one answers the phone at all. Eventually made the appointment online. Then a few days before the appointment date, I recieve a message that the appointment has been cancelled. No call no reason just CXD. Now I am trying to exchange my voucher to another business who understand customer service and cannot get hold of WIKIDEALS. What type of operation is this. I mailed WIKI 4 x with the new voucher details that I would like to exchange it for still no response.

Very poor service from Wikideals. I have sent multiple emails with no response and whenever I call, the call drops and no one calls back. It is unprofessional and frustrating, especially when customers are trying to resolve an issue. Customers deserve better communication and support.

Bought a couples shooting range coupon from Wikideals at R600 last year end of October, I tried redeeming the voucher multiple weekends and the vendor was just not able to assist, on top of this, they closed for festive season, I tried again in January and the same saga as in 2025, I emailed Wikideals 3 times and no response, this is absolutely Appalling service!

I am extremely disappointed with WikiDeals’ lack of customer service and failure to resolve a refund matter. I purchased a spa voucher through WikiDeals on 12 December, and the booking was confirmed for 12 January at 10:00, specifically for my birthday. On 9 January, just three days before the appointment, I was contacted by the spa and informed that they would be closed on the day of my booking and therefore could not honour the confirmed appointment. This short-notice cancellation forced me to make alternative birthday arrangements at additional cost. I do not wish to reschedule the treatment, nor am I in a financial position to do so. Despite multiple emails to WikiDeals, I have received no response, no guidance, no update, and no effort to resolve the issue. This is unacceptable for a platform that positions itself as a trusted intermediary between customers and service providers. I also attempted to engage via their customer care Facebook link, which contains very little information, no clear support process, and appears highly unprofessional. This raises serious concerns about accountability, as it almost feels as though WikiDeals does not meaningfully exist as a customer-facing business, but rather as a middleman collecting payments with no visible support structure when issues arise. I am simply requesting a full refund for a service that was cancelled through no fault of my own. The complete lack of communication from WikiDeals has been frustrating and disappointing. I would strongly caution others to think twice before purchasing vouchers through WikiDeals if issues arise, as customer support appears non-existent once payment has been made.
