<div>Absolutely shocking. Advise no one to use them, besides for being unprofessional and extremely rude, they do not return deposits. Please everyone, be very weary. It might seem cheap, but it turns put being more expensive than reliable car rental companies. They change delivery and collection rates whenever they want. Sent the driver on a bus to collect my car, and want to charge me R1500, their response, why don't l catch a bus to return the car.</div>
<div>Whatever you do, do not even waste your time and make the inquiry. Their cars are in shocking condition, My 3rd car in the amount of months broke down in Muizenburg, my mom of 78, my dogs and my brother had to spend 3 nights sleeping in the broken car as they would not pay for the towing, after giving me a Courtesy car, the entire gear lever came out. I spent over R7000 on towing. I had a bumper bashing, the emergency line was down so I called a tow truck, R11000 later I had to pay plus R10000 for the excess. Including the deposit for such a just put together car, I paid over R80000, they then took my car away and would not take my calls when i crashed, i was fired on 12 Sept and instead of taking a calming tablet, i took a sleeping tablet, they would not pay the other cars damages, No blood was taken, or test of any sort, cops were even on the scene and they understood what had happened. I had to pay it out of my pocket, they sighted I wouldnt pay the R10000, emails say a different story. Now I get Summons by the rudest, most arrogant lawyer that I owe them R110000 because I did not pay my monthly installment.....here is the exact email I received why my car was being taken away.....WITHOUT PREJUDICE Good Day Belinda Based on what transpired over the last few days and the information compiled we have come to a decision to cancel the agreement you have with our company. Please find attached a copy of your contract and pictures of the vehicle. You shall be held liable subject to the terms and conditions in the rental agreement. Last November 2020 I purchased a refurbished laptop from PC LAPTOPS for R11000, it came with a one year warranty, on the night of the warranty expiring (2021) the hard drive blew, PC lap Tops after numerous heated arguments with the manager Andre Daneeden agreed to fix it under the warrantee. As it was in fact during the warranty it broke and their offices were not open. I do not have copies of the correspondence as I lost all my information, both personal and the business I own due to the hard drive blowing. Due to Covid I have only been able to reopen my company in Nov 2021 when the numbers increased to 2000 as I do mass catering. Andre made it clear that the new hard drive that was replaced beginning Nov 2021 does not carry any warranty. On the 15th of Nov 2021 the hard drive blew again and I had to use another company to repair the hard drive as PC laptops quoted more than double that of the other provider. Again all the information was lost including court documents and business docs. The company that repaired the hard drive pointed out to me that this laptop is in fact a 2013 model, which is more than 10 years old, to pay over R11000 for a 10 year old laptop is day light robbery. On Friday 19th of November the on switch broke, which again I paid to have repaired by another company than PC laptop as they are masters of ripping people off. On Monday 21st Nov 2021 the speakers stopped working. All these problems have been confirmed that the laptop is just very old. I would like my money refunded as all I am doing is spending money which I do not have, I cant even buy food and get food from dustbins, but have to pay for a laptop that I bought for R11000 under the false pretenses it was refurbished to new, not 10 years old and PC Laptop would in fact make more money from ware and tear of the old computer being constantly repaired. In total I have lost over 6 weeks of job hunting due to repairs to my laptop. Under the circumstances the six weeks I lost looking on line for a job cost me thousands and caused extreme mental distress. The files can be obtained from Kraaifontein Day Clinic Room 19. I did try explaining my concerns to Andre this morning and insisted in the most aggressive manner that I email him. Because of all the stress the Covid and respective problems have caused I had a stress Epilepsy attack after talking to him, these attacks can result in death and Andre is well aware of my circumstances as it has been mentioned to him on numerous occasions. I look forward to your response and stopping companies like PC Laptops misleading people and effectively causing damages that can not be repaired. So after the lockdown I have only been able to open one of my divisions in April, as this is a luxury niche product it is going very slow. Today Standard Bank has ordered me to pay over R50000 a month to cover the covid loan and debt occurred on my business account prior to lockdown. After being promised the debit order return penalty would be waivered (R72000), that will cover the majority of any outstanding debt. They even want to freeze my account that will mean UIF Ters is coming into so my staff will not be able to be paid anything.
