Their customer service sucks big time, they treat customers like nothing, when you call them on the phone to place an order, they will ask you to please your order on an email and then you send an email to order but they ignore it don't you don't get any response unless you phone them 10 times and then they will attend to it. The manager there Desmond looks down on people like us, every time you request for some help he will tell you that he is helping another customer and will come back to you but never call back.
I went to the offices of Tshwane for the first time this year, I was assisted by the lady call Lizzy, a very friendly lady with a lot of respect for her work, it was for the fist time I meet someone so welcoming at the municipal office, for the years I have been there for some help on something I always get people who are sulking, unfriendly, rude or just lazy to work but Lizzy take a golden medal for her work, going out of the way to explain exactly what needs to happen. I was so excited that I met her. Her work ethics are amazing.
Change of debit account details has been so easy to do with Telkom, I called the customer center and I was told to write a letter and on the letter I should state the account number that I want to be debited and then I was given an email address to where to send that letter and together with the proof of my account letter from the bank and wala after sending my email I received a notification email that all my documents has been received and they were working on them. After a few hours I received a confirmation email that that my debit account has been changer. I was so happy and very satisfied with they quick response.
They are worst office administration in the world, in January this year, the city of tshwane was busy switching off lights for people who owed electricity for huge amounts of money. They had hired this other outsourced company which used to send us email.and threaten us. So l went straight to Tshwane office to make ana arrest for my account payment even thought I was no owing that much money but l wanted to afford the repayments. When l was there at their offoce l was.advised to do arrangements.for only one account which is for my rates and taxes but the other account was still okay according to them. Then l did as advertised. Surprisingly recently l went to buy electricity and every time l buy, l would be debited or charged a certain amout of money saying it's a debt from Tshwane, at that time l am still paying for the arrangement that l have made already and meaning now l am being debited twice. I tried to phone to understand what was going on but people whom were trying to assist me seemed to be not understanding what was happening on my account as well. And so l have since left it like that. Everytime l buy prepaid electricity l get charged for a certain percentage of money, saying its a debt. They last time l bought R200 prepaid electricity l got charged R120😪😪😪
They came to our residential area, dug holes on our pavements, gardens while trying to install their devices for the use of Wi-Fi and they left our gardens and pavements looking shabby and not looking as they used to before. I have tried to address this incidents and they keep saying that my request has been escalated to whom I have no idea. We don't deserve to be treated like this. I spoke to the lady called Monique and she is the one that keep saying the matter has been escalated. They should fix their mess after undoing things they way they used to be.
