NO SERVICE EVER is the right way to put it. They do not answer calls, messages or emails. My parcel has been out for delivery for 3 days. I am leaving the country in 1 hour and I still do not have my parcel. I cannot change the delivery address and or reschedule delivery. MOST frustrating company.
After waiting for my order for 2 weeks (something that showed in stock when I ordered online) Not getting any responses from them via email and calling their call centre 7 times, I resorted to writing a bad review on hollopeter. Their reaction was not to contact me or let me know what is going on, it was to cancel my order without calling me, telling me why my order is being cancelled or what the process was going to be. After taking my money the moment I placed my order, sending me an email to tell me in addition to the two weeks they already had my money, it will take another 14 days before they refund me. YOUR SERVICE IS TERRIBLE MAKRO SA. You should be ashamed of yourselves!
I placed an order for bar stools from Makro Online for my *brand new kitchen*. The website clearly stated *“IN STOCK”* when I placed the order, which gave me full confidence that delivery would be timely. Against my husband's advice—who has had multiple bad experiences with Makro—I went ahead with the purchase. What a mistake. For two weeks, the order status hasn't changed: *“Order placed, delivery 20 May 2025.”* Today is well past that date, and I have received absolutely *nothing*. No updates. No apologies. No delivery. In the last *48 hours alone*, I have called the Makro call centre *seven times* and sent *four separate emails*. Every single call ends the same way: endless holding, being passed from one agent to the next, dropped calls, empty promises of call-backs that *never happen*, and a complete lack of accountability. One agent even had the audacity to suggest I simply “wait.” I am *angry, disappointed, and deeply frustrated*. I don’t enjoy feeling this way, but this experience has brought out the worst in me. I placed an order in good faith. You took my money. You offered no service in return. Makro Online is the *poster child of poor customer service*. I now understand exactly why the company is struggling. If this is how you treat paying customers, it's no wonder you're losing them. To anyone considering placing an order with Makro Online: **don’t**. It’s not worth the stress, the wasted time, or the utter rage. Shop elsewhere—anywhere else—because Makro clearly does *not* value its customers.
The order process was frustrating on the online store as the payment methods are limited and then didn't want to work. They don't do well responding to emails AT ALL. After finally managing to place the order it has been a week and still the order shows "processing" Sent another email which was read (as I get the read receipt) but still no response. Who takes a week to deliver these days? Very much want to say that they have no service level at all....
They keep telling you that they will be delivering on this date and that date at least twice a week but they just don't pitch. I guess the reason their prices are so low is because you never get your product.

I have received NO service what so ever from this company. The day I called them to come and repair my oven, they were there in a flash. Requested a deposit for spare parts and paid it the same day. Over 50 phone calls and several emails, 7 weeks later I have still got no spare parts or working oven. They are useless, full of excuses and without fail never know who you are or what they were supposed to ordered or should have repaired for you.
I just updated my policy to include our newest member of our family :) Thank you Chevanne for your quick and friendly assistance in this regard. It took less thank 5 minutes and it was done and dusted! I have only had brilliant service from you guys and will definitely recommend you to all I know :)
