I made a booking in December 2022, when I arrive at their service provider,I was told to introduce a credit card facility of 4000 rands,which I didn't have. I called them to cancel the booking before booking time. But I didn't go through because of the inefficiency of cancellation department. When I request a refund. I was told that I will only get one for insurance. Which I got. But I still want the refund for the car rental.
I bought phone in January 2021. Around 25 March it could not charge anymore. I took it to the shop and wait for a month to get it back. I went to the shop to fetch it. I was told it is still in the shop,not picked up yet for the repair. I demanded a new phone and I was told that is impossible. I approached consumer protection and I got refunded to buy a new phone.
I lost the job while I owed my account. They referred the account to MBD attorneys and they called me. I said to MBD, when I get the job I will pay Woolworths but I will not use your banking details to pay I'll go to the store. Indeed I paid my account in full and paid 614.00 rands extra purposely. When I went to the shop to use that extra money. I was told that, the money will pay legal fees. I contacted customer services several times through emails and I got the same answer, that they will use my money for legal fees. My argument was, you appointed MBD,not me so,I'm not liable for the legal fees. I refer the matter to credit ombudsman and I got refunded.
I made my efiling on 01/07/2021 and calculations. I had a refund. When I was supposed to get my refund,they wanted me to file for 2020, which I already done in September 2020. I complied but it pto date, SARS want me to submit documents every 3 weeks. Now they want to audit 2021 again
My brother in law bought a ford Kuga in 2018 around June,a months later,it flashed engine light,he called ford to inform them,and was told to bring the car to a dealership in Heidelberg. On his way,the car had engine break down,he was told to pay for the repairs, some of the parts. A month later,he had the same problem, that's when I came in to help. We took the car to the dealership and he was given a courtesy car, which later ford demanded it back as the car was there for a long time. To cut the story short,he got the car in July again few weeks later,had the same problem.
