I am an iKhokha card machine user for the past 2 and a half months. Ever since I got my machine it hasn't accepted Capitec bank cards. The transaction always declined with an error message. I have made numerous calls to the service centre for assistance. Every time I was given a different excuse. It started the assistant refreshing and clearing the cache on my machine numerous times. To being told that iKhokha did have an issue on all their machines with Capitec previously but now it's been sorted. Then it went back to clearing the cache on my machine. Then it went to they can't figure out why only my machine has an issue and I was asked to send through pictures of the error message. Today the 12.07.2025 I was advised that I need to ask all my customers to go to their bank and sort it out with the bank as it's a fault with their cards. This makes no sense as the exact same card will swipe on a different traders iKhokha machine but not mine, so how can it be an issue with their cards. The agent went on to tell me that there is nothing wrong on their side which I feel is lies because why was I given the run around. This is truly false advertising as I was never informed that there is an issue with Capitec cards and iKhokha. I refuse to accept this experience and explanations as if I was informed about the issue with Capitec cards I would have of never agreed to purchasing an iKhokha machine. Or why was this not mentioned to me within my 30 day refund period. I am very unhappy with this machine and the service of every single person that I dealt with at iKhokha
I asked for a quotation on a new vehicle that I wanted to purchase, instead I had the new vehicle added onto my insurance. I also queried about having my premium looked at for a discounted rate and got told that I don't qualify for a reduced price although I'm with the insurance company for about 4 years
I have a household and car insurance with Hollard since Oct 2021. In April this year I was involved in an attempted hijacking. My vehicle was shot at and damaged. Hollard payed me out for the damages, as the service provider could not repair my vehicle within the time. On the 1 Sept, I received an email via my broker to say that Hollard is giving me 30 cancellation on my policy. The reason for the cancellation was due to the fact that my claim was higher than the amount that i have paid in premiums. This is such a ****py excuse to cancel a policy. What about things like access, raising the premiums amount, me not claiming for the next how ever long????? Mind you during all of this Hollard has not made contact with me once. Everything is getting done via a broker. I want someone from Hollard to call me back so that i get a proper explanation of why my insurance is being cancelled without any feedback or communication from their side!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I received the most appalling service from Hyundai Pinetown. I was dealing with a salesperson by the name of Jiveshin who lied to me that he is in New vehicle sales as I was looking to purchase a new when he was in fact from used cars. He gave me the run around for 1 entire week about getting back to me if my deal was approved and what they could offer me. He has initially told me an interest rate and installment under the pretext that he had gotten this amount from the bank. Only to get a call 2 days later by the credit manager and tell me that whatever Jiveshin had told me is all lies. No one knew where Jiveshin had gotten the figures he had given me. Jiveshin is a liar and he is very unworthy. He has no customer service s****s and because of him I will no longer have trust in the Pinetown store. I was able to get triple times better service from Umhlanga. To top it of not once did a manager or Jiveshin appolgize for his wrong doings
