I’m so disappointed with Netcare gapcover. On 6 12 2024 I requested a callback from Netcare which was honoured same day. The agent assisted me to apply for the Gapcover and promised to send me a policy document which was never received. The following day another agent contacted me, knowing that I have finalised the application I informed the agent that another agent assisted with the application however I did not received the policy document as promised. She assured me that I will received it on Monday -09/12/2024. The policy document was never sent and to-date I have not received it. If one can struggle from getting the policy document what about the payment of claims. I am reconsidering my decision.
If you care about your mental health and the health of your family, stay away from this place. It’s been over 2 weeks now without water 💦. Imagine the smell coming from the toilet and sink . Ruuuuuuunnnnnn. If you get lucky you will get water for 30minutes then wait for another 2 to 3 weeks to get water. Here you carry buckets Monday to Sunday, you have to beg for AFCHO/Joburg mayor to send roaming water trucks. Run for your life. There’s not life here, you are literally staying in a hostel. Hostels are even better compared to this place. Don’t be lured by the “one month rent free and free deposit “ . This is all their tactics to get you to come live in this horrible place. From the 1st day you move in there will be no water!!!!! Next thing booom no electricity, poor Wi-Fi connectivity.
I stayed in the AFCHO building in Legae (2018) . The service was good that I began to trust AFCHO and recommend them to my friends and family. June 2023 I moved to South hills lifestyle estate , the worst decision. This place is managed like a hostel. If it’s not water cuts , it’s unexpected electricity cut. They are charging ridiculous rental amount with poor service delivery. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE if your love your self and for the sake of your mental health. Hygiene is very poor. We’ve been out of water for 2 months now, imagine how the bathrooms look like. AFCHO management they just don’t care all they want is money.
I have been a loyal member to Fedhealth since January 2017. I have never utilise hospital benefits. Last year when I discovered I’m expecting a baby I contacted Fedhealth several times to inquire about elective c/section and the terms and condition attached to it. All I got was the procedure is covered with no terms and condition. I understood the disclaimer “subject to scheme approval” I was told to submit name of the procedure , ICD code, procedure , hospital code including doctors details. All were supplied to Fedhealth. I later received a letter containing two decision in one. Stating declined due to insufficient information and pended for ICD 10 code. I inquired in November/December I was told a letter was sent to my Gynaecologist, to date no update from Fedhealth. I keep on getting statements stating “Authorisation declined”. I am so disappointed with Fedhealth. I recruited my co-workers to this scheme because of the kind of service I was receiving but after this I don’t think I will ever advice any of my friends and family members to come to Fedhealth. A clear letter stating clear reasons of why my request was decline would have taken away the anxiety and time wasted on this matters. Recently I sent Fedhealth an email requesting the letter sent to my doctor all they did was to ignore my emails. Your service level has moved from exceptional to horrible!!!! I planned to stick with Fedhealth for the rest of my working life but that has changed now I am so Disappointed and disgusted by the service I received in 2022. Ready to move to move to another scheme
Pathetic incompetent staff After several escalations Old Mutual fails to pay back my money. Now they are telling me of the 30 days SLA , disgusting!!!! I gave them proof that money was not dispensed and their statement also indicate that there were two withdrawal rejections but still fails to refund me. The worst part when I contact them they tell me that my account had a balance of over R4000 which is incorrect and they are telling me that I had withdrawn X 2 R2000 and both were successful, pathetic !!! get your facts straight and systems right . I supplied old mutual with two ATM slips indicating that no money dispensed, I had to spell that out to more that 3 people but still they cannot make this right. DO NOT OPEN OLD MUTUAL Money account, YOU WILL LOSE YOUR HARD EARNED CASH. Their team is so incompetent you will never get assistance should there be technical glitches. They speak to clients via emails because that's the only thing they know. They cannot even pick up a phone and call to explain what transpired nor reassure you that you will receive your money. I went to old mutual branch in Giyani on 13 02 2022,and I was reassured by the agent and area manager that my money will reflect into my account on Monday -14 02 2022 but to my surprise, funds were not returned. They always request documents to be completed but don't action when received. They sleep on them until you decide not to pursue the case. They go around telling people that they provide peace of mind but give the opposite to their customers. I have never ever had a smooth encounter with OLD Mutual. They always give me headaches. For your peace sake, stay away from these people. They put customers at the back sit all the time.
Horrible service ever!!! 1. On 21 09 2021 my sister made an EFT payment from old mutual money account to my standard bank account. Since then we did not receive the money. We were sent from pillar to post by old mutual staff. Even managers couldn’t even resolve the matter following several escalations. We stopped Pursuing the matters. 2. On 08 02 2022 I withdrawn R2000 from the money account. The money was not dispensed by the machine. I then received an SMS saying money reversed , to my surprise when I attempted to withdraw the money there was nothing. I then called old mutual and I was advised that it takes 48hours . Their SLA has since passed , still no funds in my account. Yesterday I wrote a request on Facebook and today I woke up to an email informing me that money was reversed as if I was dumb enough to see from my phone. They then attached a statement , disgusting!!!! What am I supposed to do with a statement??? They didn’t even bother to reassure me that they are investigating the issue at hand. I lost hope and trust on old mutual. The thought of me going to their branch in Tzaneen makes me sick and my knees weak because they are so incompetent to handle such complicated cases. DO NOT TAKE COVERS WITH OLD MUTUAL , their services is disgusting!!! I am going to cancel this account and my investments. Old mutual does not care about their clients at all. This is my third encounter getting this horrible service. I regret ever giving them a second chance.
My decoder stopped working yesterday ,it was only showing a red light and I couldn’t reboot it. Today I contacted multichoice and I was advised by their consultant to take my decoder to the nearest Multichoice company of which I did. I went to Multichoice in Randburg and guess what ?i was told to buy a new decoder, they did not even bother to check what is wrong with my current decoder. I wasted my time and petrol, they should have told me from the beginning to buy a new decoder instead of telling me to go to their offices knowing very well that they are not s****ed enough to handle such problems.
